About Sterling Allen

Retired teacher who just "swallowed the anchor" after 70+ years of cruising on sail and power boats. I will be doing some travelling with my dog, Bailey, if all goes well.

Woodford State Park, Woodford, Vermont

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

A beautiful place on the side of a mountain overlooking a lake. The "preferred" sites are directly on/above the lake. Very quiet, very serene, very Vermont (at least during the week in September). Swimming off a sandy beach and canoe and kayak rentals. We (a dog and her old man) were in a totally private site, overlooking the lake, in our 22' RV. We camped at Woodford State Park in a Motorhome.
