Carolina Pines, Conway, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

I will start by saying that when this park is complete and all amenities are open, it will be amazing. However, they are not there yet. There is a lot of construction going on which is weather dependent so I get that they are behind but they need to tell folks that when they are checking in. The woman that checked me in barely looked at me and was carrying on a conversation with a coworker about office supplies. She never told me that there were areas of the park that should be avoided due to ongoing construction. When I was exploring the new buildings to see what was open, I was “scolded” by an employee for being in the area. No signs, plenty of other folks walking around exploring but I was singled out and told to leave. I won’t even go into the fact that she called me “SIR” ....not every woman has long hair!!! The sites are nice, nice dog parks but when it is up and running I can see where it will be very busy with a lot to do for the kids. They did give two free nights for the lack of amenities but I’m not sure I would go back. There are no vending machines or store open on site so if you need anything you will have to leave the park for now. We camped at Carolina Pines in a Motorhome.

Carrollwoods RV Campground, Tabor City, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Carrollwoods RV Park and Grapefull Sisters Winery. Tabor City, NC.
Despite the rain, it was a quiet, peaceful stay. Everyone was so friendly. Do the wine tasting....it is all so good. A long history to this property and the grapes they grow. We got a LOT of rain so there was some standing water on the gravel site but the staff worked hard with pumps to get it cleared out. I’ll be back! We camped at Carrollwoods RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: January, 2019 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park. Lots are individually owned. Office and check in was great and staff was very friendly. Access to bike path from the park and biking to stores, restaurants, and the beach is very easy. Lots of great food nearby, some just a short walk. Publix across the street. Will return when it warms up a bit. Great stay. We camped at Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

North Myrtle Beach RV Resort and Dry Dock Marina, Little River, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

This park is new. Beautiful amenities and all are very clean. Great pool with150' ft water slide. Live entertainment in the pool area on Saturday night. It was nice to sit over the waterway, listen to some good music and enjoy a chilly beverage. All staff we came in contact with were very nice. Quiet after 10. Will definitely be returning to this Park. We camped at North Myrtle Beach RV Resort and Dry Dock Marina in a Motorhome.

Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $79.00
Overall Rating:

Great RV Resort. Everyone was so friendly right from check-in. I love the fact that you can toodle around on a golf cart and choose your own site. Sites are owned and the pride of ownership shows. I picked site #81 which had a nice water feature in the back. The sound of the water was very relaxing. Nice table with umbrella and all hookups worked well. Main pool overlooks the intercostal waterway and it was fun to see the dolphins playing from the comfort off a lounge chair! There is no access to the public bike paths from the park which was disappointing as I did not have a car to transport the bike but other than that I had a great stay and will definitley be back! We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

Despite the downpours we had a great time. We had a pull- thru site which was great for getting settled in the rain. All hookups were accessible and worked fine. The cable gave us over 35 channels to chose from and the parks internet was good enough to allow use of the fire stick for watching movies. Dogs are allowed on the beach after 5pm and before 10am so the little guy had some beach time too. During the rain while not watching movies we were able to call Lyft for a $6 ride to the outlet mall. Park has a restaurant for breakfast with great food and reasonable prices. Our one day on the beach was great. Definitely will be visiting this park again. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Motorhome.
