Grape Creek RV Park Campground and Cabins, Westcliffe, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at this campground for two days and found the park to be a real gem. Off the road near the town of Westcliffe. Beautifully landscaped with great pull through spaces. Restrooms were roomy and clean. Staff was friendly and on site. Office open fairly late. Lovely mountains in the background with stream on back of property. Very quiet. We camped at Grape Creek RV Park Campground and Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

Angel Fire RV Resort, Angel Fire, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $61.00
Overall Rating:

I wish I could give this an 11. In all of the years we have been camping, this was a beautiful destination and well worth the price. The sites had concrete pads, the hot tub and fire pit in full operation. I enjoyed the path around the park for walking or bike riding. By far, the nicest place around and probably the best we have ever stayed in. We camped in a travel trailer so we used the showers and bath. I realize that it is new but I feel confident that it will be well maintained. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Angel Fire RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The Enchanted Circle drive was excellent. Several nice places to eat at Angel Fire Resort which was pretty close to the RV park. Park also had activities for campers with a playground. Extremely nice!

Schulenburg RV Park, Schulenburg, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is the second time that we have stayed at this park. The office staff is very friendly. We were escorted to our spot. Restrooms are family style and exceptionally clean. We were in walking distance to restaurants and stores. Very shaded and quiet at night. Just a few blocks from the interstate. Would definately stay here again. We camped at Schulenburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Two Rivers Campground, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived at 5:30PM to check in and the office was already closed. This was our last stop after a month of 18 different RV parks and the only park that was closed before 7:00PM. Therefore, I cannot comment on the staff. The office was not open when we left around 6:30am in the morning. Our information was posted so we could find our place. The sites are extremely close and there are limited pull throughs (we asked for one and no one told us that they didn't have any available )The electric hook up worked but there was no breaker. We camped in a camper so we selected this campground because of the 10 Good Sam's rating. Well, since this is part of Camping World, I think the rating was "skewed" or only the restrooms at the office were rated. I would like to attach pictures from the restrooms in the middle of the campground for use. A young child could put their foot through the drain. Very disappointed. We did not see any evidence of security and the restrooms had the code pads taped over and could not be used. I would not stay here again. It is close to Music Valley. I would rather pay more for nicer facilities and will should be ever stop in Nashville again. the roads inside are so narrow that someone came by in a truck at high speed and almost took off the passenger door of our vehicle when I was getting out to help my husband back up. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Pine Crest RV Park, Slidell, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We selected this park because it had a 9.5 * rating by Good Sam's. I don't think I can rely on Good Sam's for their ratings. We have a camper and therefore often use the facilities. The staff was friendly but the restrooms, especially the mens room was not clean. There were signs posted that you were on camera which really made us feel uncomfortable in the restroom area. We decided to skip our showers that night. The restrooms had wooden benches in need of paint and repair and were dingy. Not a 9.5! A majority of the park occupants were living there. That is not a problem but still, felt like as campers, we were not important. Our site was low and our electric was in water following a rain. I know it is Louisiana and low country, but I felt that more care could have been given. I will not stay here again. We camped at Pine Crest RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
