Brown County / Nashville KOA, Nashville, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

We are repeat visitors to this park. The park is clean, quiet, well-maintained and the owners are welcoming. In the past, our only complaint was the size of the sites. We formerly camped with a 29-ft travel trailer and we recently camped with our new 35-ft unit. We reserved one of the new deluxe sites. Wow! We had a tinted-concrete patio, composite picnic table and glider, and stone fire-pit. The landscaping on our site was beautiful. A plus is that the park is convenient to Nashville (IN), Columbus (IN) and Bloomington (IN). We made another reservation at the conclusion of this visit. We camped at Brown County / Nashville KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Piney Campground, Land Between the Lakes NRA, Dover, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first trip to a National Park. The experience greatly exceeded our expectations. We did not expect full hook-ups, large sites and well-stocked camp store. We had a small glitch with our reservation, but the rangers corrected the issue quickly and to our satisfaction. We were very close to Kentucky Lake and next time, we will book a lakeside site. We camped at Piney Campground, Land Between the Lakes NRA in a Travel Trailer.

Monroe Co. / Toledo North KOA, Petersburg, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This was our worst park experience in the 3 years we have owned a travel trailer. The sites are the postage stamp-sized and no gravel or concrete to be seen. Our site was muddy and trash-ridden. The other guests do not observe quiet-time and unsupervised children were everywhere. Our water tap was broken and we had to ask twice for a visit from maintenance. We will not return and do not recommend. We camped at Monroe Co. / Toledo North KOA in a Travel Trailer.
