Rustic Barn RV Park, Kieler, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: October, 2019 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived early afternoon Friday and were greeted warmly and by friendly staff. They showed us to our site and we looked around and thought-wow what a beautiful place! The sites are ALL full hook up! Some have concrete pads, some are gravel. Our site was LEVEL!! We chose a site with a concrete pad, the space between sites was excellent! Very well kept campground with nice grounds, gravel roads, THE CLEANEST BATHROOMS I HAVE EVER SEEN! The campground offers a huge Jenga game, croquet that is all set up, corn hole, huge connect 4 game, basketball, playground, horseshoes. A very nice relaxing Chapel. They are surrounded by farm fields that makes your stay so relaxing to just sit on one of the benches and enjoy the scenery. They offer FREE WIFI throughout the campground! We are going back next fall with our friends!! One of the BEST campground we have ever stayed at!! I am picky and you will not be disappointed staying here!! We camped at Rustic Barn RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Buffalo Lake Camping Resort, Montello, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We have been here in the past with our pop up and now we have a travel trailer. We really like the campground, they have friendly staff and friendly seasonal campers! This past weekend was a Theme weekend~Western Hoedown. We dressed up and enjoyed a western bbq dinner. It was a lot of fun! They have a really nice pool with lounge chairs and table and chairs to sit at. Fully stocked store, wifi (depends on where you are for stronger signal) The owners are very nice and we really like going to this campground. We camped at Buffalo Lake Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Waupaca Smore Fun Campground, Waupaca, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

We picked a full hook up premium site, it was 30 amp but don't really know what was so premium. Next to us had concrete pad like us but they had a deck and nice fire pit. The fire pits are way to small and we counted 5 dead trees over or near us. It's a packed campground and hard to maneuver with not much room for your vehicle to park. Needed extension sewer hose to use sewer. One couple came in at 9 pm and we had no idea how he would back in his trailer, one camper offered to move his vehicle but no one else. I don't know how non holiday weekends are but this was just to cramped for us. If you go on holiday weekend get there at 2pm for checking in, it will be hard to maneuver with so many vehicles right at the edge of the roads. The owners are nice but make sure you are quiet at 11pm, we were told at check in and it's enforced. Take a cruise on the chain-o-lakes at clear water harbor. It was so nice and relaxing! We camped at Waupaca Smore Fun Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Fireside Campground, Lone Rock, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

I think it was a seasonal campground until the new owners took over. They do need to trim dead trees that could be an issue with a storm. Our site was a good size and we were able to put a large screen house on it. Owners (woman) let seasonal campers do whatever they want, not following rules. DOGS OFF LEASHES! No pool. Pretty boring. I didn't find anything special about this campground. We camped at Fireside Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Wonderful experience! The owner is so nice and helpful! She really wants her guests to be happy and have a good time! The grounds are nicely landscaped, they have a great playground, basketball, volleyball, horse shoes, and cabana with wifi. A HUGE clean swimming pond! We really enjoyed that! Devil's River Campground, Maribel, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

They have a really nice pond and weekend campers stay around the pond. We were in sites 106-108 with friends. The sites were good size. Our friends in 106 put their pop up under trees and parked their vehicle where the camper should go but it was all sun. Owner didn't have any issues with that. My site was 107 and other friends was 108 and he pulled to so our door would open to each other, again no complaints from owner. We enjoyed the pond a lot! The campground offered big inflatables to play on and it was fun watching others play on them. I didn't use the rest rooms but the showers looked like they were not cleaned but I could be wrong on that! We had a nice relaxing stay. The river is BEAUTIFUL!!! We will go back again to this campground! The owner is very nice and very laid back. We didn't encounter a lot of noise or anything. Great place to stay! We camped at Devil's River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Ho-Chunk Casino Campground, Baraboo, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We loved it! First time here and we were impressed with the sites. Nice long and level, at least 60 foot gravel pad. Green grass, nice fire pit, very well maintained grounds, picnic table(not a wooden one either) it's a nice table. The trees are small so not much shade but most campers were in travel trailers, 5th wheels or Class A. They do not charge extra for a/c. If you go to the bathhouse/laundry and call for shuttle to casino they will be over in not time at all! We swam in the indoor pool, 2 nice hot tubs and sauna. We had a "room" key to get into the hotel and security patrolled the campground quite often. Again, we were VERY impressed with the campground and the service we received. You won't find a bad site here, all very well maintained. I am looking forward to staying here again! We camped at Ho-Chunk Casino Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Country View Campground, Mukwonago, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We have stay here for many years and never had an issue, they enforce the quiet hour so if you are at your campfire keep your voice down. We have stayed so much that we tend to call the site(s) we stay on "our" site! They have kept the prices reasonable. They have a nice pool, restrooms, the roads are gravel and easy to take a walk. Their is a working farm next to them so you will hear a cow mooing every now and then! The owners are very nice and remember us year after year! We camped at Country View Campground in a Travel Trailer.
