Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground, Kalispell, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Love, love, love this park. It's beautiful, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and it's really convenient to Kalispell and Glacier NP. The sites are pretty good sized, you can see your neighbor but you're not sharing elbow room with them. We ended up extending several times and the front office was great in making that happen. The first spot they put us in was too small for our slides (too many trees), but they rearranged some things and got us a new one. We didn't use the bathrooms but they are big bathhouses and looked to be cleaned often. The laundry room is HUGE, definitely the biggest I've seen at a park. Glacier is about a 45 minute drive and you're right in the town of Kalispell. Would definitely stay here again when we head back to Montana. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Make sure to go to Moose's in town for pizza. It's cash only and definitely has some character, super fun! Also make the trip down to Flathead Lake and up to Whitefish Lake. They are beautiful and there are tons of great breweries and restaurants in the area. Also, if you want to take you're pup hiking and still see some amazing views, try the Jewel Basin area.

Eleven Mile State Park - North Shore Campground, Lake George, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice setting, pretty much all the non hookup sites are on the water. We had plenty of space between our campsite and our neighbors. There are a few walking trails, several people rode their mountain bikes on them. They have boat rentals and most people are there to fish. The only downside to this campground were the bugs! I've never seen so many flies, it wasn't even pleasant to be outside. Our site also had a lot of ants. We camped at Eleven Mile State Park - North Shore Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
