Island Lake Campground, Duluth, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful wooded campground. Have to walk on busy roads to get to Island Lake swimming beach. You can not see lake from campground.

Electricity included in daily, metered for seasonal. Pump out service promised, but set schedule was not adhered to. Dump station available. Porta Potties available, cleaned weekly.

This campground has become a mecca for 4-wheelers. Campground road has many holes and is very dusty. Owner does not live on premises. Camp Host unreliable and campground rules not enforced unilaterally. We camped at Island Lake Campground in a Motorhome.
