Maple Park Campground & RV Park (formerly Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park , East Wareham, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

June 1, 2019 - "Da Bruins are playin' and ders pahties all over da pahk!" Quiet hours (start at 10:00 PM) were explained to us (as well as a bunch of other "rules") when we checked in the night before. The parties and noise started around 5:00 before the hockey game began. By 8:00, things were really going. Lots of noise, kids yelling, adults yelling, dogs barking and air horns going off. This went on for hours and I finally called "security" at 11:00 PM to complain. I was told about the game and nothing was done. If we had had another place to go, we would have packed up and left. Rules mean nothing in this park (read the list on the website). Not just the "quiet" hours rule, but many others are ignored all over the park. Some of the seasonal campsites look more like hobo camps with all the stuff that has been dragged in. This is by far the worst "campground" we have ever stayed in. If you are even thinking about this place - JUST - DON'T!!!!! We camped at Maple Park Campground & RV Park (formerly Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Travel Trailer.

Brunswick Family Campground, Brunswick, Maryland

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Streets through town to get to park are very narrow. After you cross railroad tracks, be ready for a really dusty potholed road to campground. Check in was weird - we were given orange bands to display so staff could know we weren't "squatters". Finally got to "campsite" to find electrical and water hookups were at least 50 feet away. Campsite was on the edge of potential water hole if it rained any at all. Tried to get a refund as we decided we were NOT going to stay. Were told refunds had to be approved through general manager at main off-site office. Called and of course he had just left office for the day. We left to find something else. Refund was finally approved 3 days later. All we can really say is: JUST DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING HERE unless you see it first. Best thing that can be said is that the campground is on the Potomac River. We camped at Brunswick Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.
