Suwannee River Bend RV Park, Old Town, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We parked in #50. Great views of the water. Straight through parking. I had read early reviews about hanging branches. I was concerned. New owner have trimmed up limbs and a lot around the park. New managers were very nice and helpful. Restroom has old Florida colors look and feel. I was told the new owners are currently designing for a modern updated bathroom. Convenient right off Hwy 19/98/ 27. Was extra pleased that this place has city water. Manager said this time next year there should be some small boats to rent to explore the Suwannee River. We will be back. We camped at Suwannee River Bend RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Just over the bridge is the Fanning Spring park, and a seafood restaurant. Walmart and Chiefland only 10 miles away. Or go to Hitchocks, Hardess is only 3 miles. This is a laid back area. Not congested or busy. Wish we had planned to spend more time.
