Twin Rivers Cabins and RV Park, Antonito, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access off the highway, easy to navigate the park and plenty of room in site #12 to park our 40' 5th and truck. Lots of big shade trees. Host was very nice and escorted us to our site. It was quiet, water & power were very good. FHU site. The only weird thing was all the hookups were at the very back of the site and I did not have enough sewer hose (35') to reach. We camped at Twin Rivers Cabins and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Crazy Horse RV Campground, Kanab, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access off of the main road through town. Gravel roads with plenty of room for our 40' 5th wheel. We paid extra for the 50 amp hookup. Lots of tress of various sizes do provide some shade. Quiet park even though it was close to the main road. Staff was helpful and helped us find our spot which was fairly level and made it easy to level camper. Power, water pressure, and Verizon signal excellent. Their WI-FI worked well. We camped at Crazy Horse RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Peacock Meadows Riverside RV Park, South Fork, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed with a group so our rate was included with the group which included many other things. Nice campground with easy access off the highway. Small store and office in the front with showers, bathrooms, laundry and recreation area in the back of the park. Gravel roads and sites that were big enough for our 40' 5th. Some highway noise but overall not bad. Good views of some of the mountains near by and the Rio Grande river is at the back end of the park. FHU and power and water pressure were very good. We camped at Peacock Meadows Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Heron Lake State Park, Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Great State Park. The sites were very large and easy to get into. Power and water pressure were very good. Lots of trees and lots of room between sites. Felt like we were almost by ourselves. Very quiet and beautiful night skies. Close to Chama and great to ride the Cumbres and Toltec RR. NOTE: Our GPS got us in a real bad spot, look for the signs to the park on the highway once you get close. We camped at Heron Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Santa Rosa Lake State Park, Santa Rosa, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Great park by a reservoir. The spots are close together and navigation in the park with a big rig will be tight in spots. We have a 40' 5th wheel. Power and water pressure were great. It is a 20 to 30 minute drive to the nearest town and they had all of the usual services. It is very quiet at the park because it is away from the beaten path and the night sky was beautiful. Good hiking trails around the park. We camped at Santa Rosa Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Trinidad Lake State Park, Trinidad, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Typical Colorado State Park, beautiful. We have stayed here before and really like the park, it is one of our favorites. Lots of room between sites and to back in to the site. They do not have full hook ups but the power and water pressure were excellent. We camped at Trinidad Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Foot of the Rockies RV & Storage, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

The staff are very helpful and willing to work with me to make it happen. The park does not have public showers or restrooms, so if this is important find another park. It is close to I-25 and any and all shopping you might need. Great views of Pikes Peak and could even see parts of Garden of the Gods. Many full timers at the park. We camped at Foot of the Rockies RV & Storage in a Fifth Wheel.

The staff was very helpful and gracious. Took time to show us around and help us park. Big spaces with lots of room between sites. Some very open sites and some in trees. Grand Canyon Camper Village, Tusayan, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Big park with lots of spaces. Gravel sites and ours was level. Power was good and water and sewer worked well. Park is very close to Grand Canyon and there are shuttle stops right across the street to get to the park. There were some trees but they had not leafed out yet so am not sure about shade. Park was very quiet. Easy to drive to site and lots of room to get into site. We camped at Grand Canyon Camper Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Big park in the middle of town. Close to shopping or any other services. Site was level and power and all utilities worked well. Verizon was excellent. Sites were very close together. Park was quiet even though it was close to major roads. There were very nice walking/biking paths close by. Managers were very nice and helpful. Chief Sleep Easy, Beaver Dam, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Managers were very accommodating and helpful. Park is several miles from I-15 which makes it quiet. Mesquite NV is close with all that Nevada offers and St. George UT is also close with all that it offers. We had a lot of room and the site was level. FHU and all power and utilities worked well. Good Verizon coverage. I would stay here again. We camped at Chief Sleep Easy in a Fifth Wheel.

Clark County Shooting Complex, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Easy to get to even if it is a little off the beaten path and close to shopping and supplies. Because it is off the beaten path it is very quiet at night. If you like to shoot then this is the place for you, if not then go somewhere else. Staff was very nice and helpful. Utilities were very good and great Verizon coverage. Lots were gravel and level. Canyon Springs RV Resort, Caldwell, Idaho

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very new park. The office/laundry area/restrooms were very clean and nice. The sites were level and not spaced too close together and I had no trouble backing into my site. It was convenient to shopping and other services. I think there is an incredible amount of road noise, railroad noise, shooting range noise, and a large amount of local heavy duty truck traffic. If you like noise this is your park. We camped at Canyon Springs RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
