Saco / Old Orchard Beach KOA, Saco, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $77.00
Overall Rating:

Great location, close to coastline, Old Orchard Beach with great boardwalk. The campground is typical KOA - on the expensive side. nice office / store with plenty of camping essentials and souvenirs. rented a gold cart for a day - $55 quite expensive. Roads were sufficient fro 44' MH. Escorted to your site. Bathhouse from ver clean with individual shower / toilet rooms and secured - well maintained and clean. our site was large enough fro us, nice fire ring. Must use their fire wood, they will deliver it to your site and the price seemed reasonable. pool looked very nice and was always busy. lots of children running around, drive carefully. we would stay here again. We camped at Saco / Old Orchard Beach KOA in a Motorhome.

Wakeda Campground, Hampton Falls, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

Great location in New Hampshire. Easy to get too. the campground was well laid out, its about 1 mile in from the entry way and office. Nice country store, small put put golf. Nice walking trails. grand kids loved it, great site with spacious fire ring. very comfortable location, and campground. site was big enough from our 44' MH, roads we at time tight but maneuverable. we would defiantly stay here again. We camped at Wakeda Campground in a Motorhome.

Gettysburg Campground, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

we made reservations 3 months in advance for our 44' MH. when we arrived, late in the afternoon we were given our site - site 85. there were too many trees for use to even pull into the site, the site was far to short for our MH. one of the grounds men came by and help us wont the office staff. the office staff were not well suited for camp ground work, as they didn't ow what sites we open and didn't even know the size of our site. we were finally moved to site 77. our MH fit, but we have absolutely no yard, it was all dirt and hard rocks. maybe 8 feet of space. the fire ring was on a slanted angle not really safe or useable, and far too aloe to our MH. the picnic table was good. we would not stay here again. no apology from the management. the grounds man was great though. We camped at Gettysburg Campground in a Motorhome.

Camp Meade RV Park (Military FamCamp), Fort Meade Army Post, Maryland

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

nice military family camp. no pool on the site, but Ft. Meade has a pool you can use. Getting to the campground was a little challenging, directions are not good. PX / Gas station were close by. the restrooms were always clean, showers were clean. the restroom/shower building was centrally located and close by. campground is well maintained. when we arrived our 50 amp plug was damaged and not usable, the engineers came out right away and repaired it. power was good. the office / store is a typical military building, nicely maintained and functional. limited camping supplies available. we would stay here again. We camped at Camp Meade RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Cinderella Motel & Campsite, Grand Island, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Small family owned hotel / campground business. All sites are back in, along a big loop road. We were right up front as we have a 44' MH. Tight backing in but doable. The fire ring is directly behind your site, between you and a small creek (creek not cleaned or painted at all). Site was well graveled and no problem for our 45K lb MH. Check in was quick, limited paper work, not set of rules, no site map as you typically get. Given the location (Grand Island), the site was very reasonable, so you don't have the KOA or other private campground type amenities (no pool, playground, etc...). Large central park area to walk pets. very close to the North Bridge to Niagra Falls. Power pedestal was wobbly but works with good power. We camped at Cinderella Motel & Campsite in a Motorhome.

Twilight on the Erie RV park, Macedon, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 8 days in our 44' MH. very close to Rochester area with a lot of things to do. the campground was on top of their property, speed limit was 3 MPH, as lots of children were there. many seasonal sites that we for the most part well kept. the office / store is quite nice, small grill and ice cream chest. the basics of camping ere for sale. the office was very busy when we check in but the staff were helpful. this is an older campground but well maintained. the pool looked very nice, we didn't use it. the shower house was a log cabin type, the stalls were in need of a good cleaning, as they are bare concrete, old and stained. the restrooms were always pretty clean. and open 24/7 without a code. the GPS will only take you part of the way here, you have to keep going down marina parkway and you will get there, a nice old western wagon greets you at the entrance. We would stay here again. We camped at Twilight on the Erie RV park in a Motorhome.

Canandaigua / Rochester KOA, Farmington, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

we stayed here for 6 nights. we only had reservations for 4 nights and were able to extend. the site was alright, because of the orientation of our MH we were under trees and could not use satellite. hover local channels were sufficient. great farmers markets in the area. nice pool. the office / store was very well organized. we would definitely stay her again. We camped at Canandaigua / Rochester KOA in a Motorhome.

Williamsburg / Busch Gardens Area KOA, Williamsburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

this was probably the best KOA we have stayed at to date. our site was an oval pull through with patron, very easy to maneuver with 44' HM. the shower / bathrooms were close and very well maintained. the pool / play are was great for our grand kids, large bouncy pillows - great. the pool was very well maintained. office / store was efficient and well organized with a lot of camping essentials and souvenirs. some of the roads were a little tight, you are escorted to your site and my guide first took us to the wrong site - caused me to do some tight maneuvering with the MH to get out and to the correct site. All in all a great spot and campground, a definite stay again. We camped at Williamsburg / Busch Gardens Area KOA in a Motorhome.

Tiki Tom's RV Park, Tiki Island, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in a 43' Motorhome. Arrived on Sunday, when office is closed. The manager called me the day before and coordinated our trip on Sunday, and she called me several times on trip Sunday to see how we were doing. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The restrooms were clean as well as the showers. Our site was on the back side of the grounds, against a wooden privacy fence, other side was a busy convenience store, no water views from this site. Water is a short walk though. A very nice covered family area is onsite. Our site was spacious, plenty of room for motorhome and room to disconnect your toad. Office staff was very helpful and friendly. This was our first visit to this site. No fire ring, no picnic table or chairs at our site. Just a bare site. We camped at Tiki Tom's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rush-No-More RV Park & Campground, Sturgis, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Very easy access to I40, Sturgis, Spearfish and local attractions. Management / owner was very friendly and helpful. We were there during a terrible hail storm. Our car was totaled and MH heavily damaged. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. The campground is well laid out. We stayed in 44' MH and would stay again -- minus the hail. We camped at Rush-No-More RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge, Natural Bridge Station, Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here because of easy access to natural bridge. Camp is as suggested, very family / children friendly. We are a retired couple, but found the campground quiet and relaxing. Our site was on fringe near wooded area of campground. Campground is divided by local highway, but easy to get from one side to another. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge in a Motorhome.

We stayed in a back in site. It was very tight getting in with our 44' MH. The site was nice. The fire pit was great. Restrooms and showers were very close by. Easy access to main roads. Would stay there again. We camped at Autumn Hills Campground in a Motorhome.

Little Tallapoosa Park, Carrollton, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in a pull through. The site was level, however our check-in was delayed by a couple of hours as the people were quite late leaving the site. The picnic table was pretty much rotted and in need of replacement. The sewage connect was at a higher elevation than our camper discharge, causing a reverse gravity flow problem. Campsite is quiet and basically well maintained. Other than that we had a nice stay. We would defiantly stay again. We camped at Little Tallapoosa Park in a Travel Trailer.
