Pioneer Trails RV Park, Anacortes, Washington

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We have come here for years and have seen a decrease in our enjoyment of the place. If you are just staying once and moving on you may not notice the increasing amount of long-term campers. We used to be able to call and get some of the unique and larger sites but now none are available because the "livers" are all moving into them. It's a shame because I had always enjoyed this park. Now, I am awakened every morning at 5:30 by the multiple diesel trucks starting up as people head to work. About the only place for the true vacationers to camp are the spots at the entrance and now I see these being taken over as well ( enjoy your hike to the bathrooms). We camped at Pioneer Trails RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pine Near RV Park, Winthrop, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

First stay and, given the convenience to town, most likely will stay again. Popular in summer and may be difficult to reserve a spot. Pros - the owners are wonderful, the grass is luxurious, resident deer come right into sites, convenient walk to town. Cons- most sites you feel like a sardine (packed in), there are no garbage cans just one garbage trailer you have to hike to throw away your garbage, it's really not an rv park more like a big grassy yard with hookups. We camped at Pine Near RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you are staying here you are more than likely visiting the town. Loved the Schoolhouse Brewery back patio. Also like the Mexican restaurant next door. Ask to sit up on the balcony and you can watch all of the street activity below.
