Creekwood Farm RV Park, Waynesville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: November, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We had site #74 right on the creek with a beautiful view out of our living room. The campground is conveniently located close to the I-40 and Cataloochee Vally. The camp ground is quiet with level gravel sites and a conctere pad with a picnic table. We will certainly return someday in the future. We camped at Creekwood Farm RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Trailer Village (Concessionnaire Operated), Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our time at Grand Canyon. The nice thing about the RV Park is that it is away from the hustle and bustle and the crowds, but still within walking distance of Mather Point and the Visitor Center, along an asphalt pathway. The bathrooms were dated but clean and well kept. We used the shuttle bus service for commuting. There is a stop at the RV Park. They have cable hookup as well. Cell reception is better closer to the main facilities, but is actually quite nice to be disconnected. After all, you are there to enjoy nature!!!! Our camp site was pull-thru and fairly level with enough space to park our vehicle. To beat the crowds, get up early and go to the far ends of the park! One thing we enjoyed a lot was the starry night skies! Go to the rim at night and enjoy the Milky Way!!! We camped at Trailer Village (Concessionnaire Operated) in a Fifth Wheel.

American RV Resort, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

One of the best parks we have stayed in on our trip! The campground is neat and clean and the staff are very friendly. The park is conveniently close to the Interstate, but that also makes it a bit vulnerable to highway noise. The pool was a welcome attraction and relaxing. Our site was level. We camped at American RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Rocking A RV Park, Vernon, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is good value for money campground with friendly staff. There is an ethanol plant in the area that tends to be noisy at night. A good facility for an overnight stay. The site was level with gravel and gravel roads. We camped at Rocking A RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park, Vicksburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $32.00

Convenient close to Interstate. The pool was very welcome and relaxing. Friendly folks at the reception. We stayed only one night as part of our cross country trip. The site had a slight slope but posed no problems with leveling. Great location if you want to visit the local attractions. We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park is a beautifull place to visit, but the gravel roads needed serious maintenance work at the time of our visit.
