Tahoe Valley Campground, South Lake Tahoe, California

Date of Stay: December, 2018 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here the weekend before Christmas. We had two families and two motorhomes. The kids all used Uber to go snowboard every day, and the adults relaxed and visited downtown. The campground was less than 1/2 full. Nice people, and festive for the season. It is about 10 minutes from downtown near Heavenly Resort, so a little bit of an Uber ride. Each trip cost us around $30 each way. There are a few stores close by as well as a pizza parlor. We had an amazing time, enjoyed the people, and the environment. My guess is this campground is amazing in the summer as well as the winter. Roads and sites were easy to get in and out of, and level. With the slushy snow we had there was mud, but nothing horrible. We camped at Tahoe Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Oceanside Beachfront RV Resort, Coos Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: November, 2018 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Pulled in late at night, yet the staff was super friendly. Spacious site, ocean breeze, and the sounds of waves were awesome. Hook-ups were really easy and in the perfect spot. The walk to the beach was under 50 yards and was a great place to spend the day. We stayed for a short weekend, but really enjoyed it. We camped at Oceanside Beachfront RV Resort in a Motorhome.

CasaBlanca Resort-Casino, Mesquite, Nevada

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This really isn't much more than a parking lot behind the casino with hook-ups. Nothing special, although it accomplished the need. We wanted somewhere to stop over on a long drive and have a place for the kids to enjoy a pool. The pool is great, there is decent dining, and the casino was a nice treat. There is not a lot else here. The hook-ups worked great, and the place had what we needed. If you're looking for a spot this does work great. Most casinos appear to be going away from having RV sites, so it was nice for them to have this. We camped at CasaBlanca Resort-Casino in a Motorhome.

Wahweap RV and Campground, Page, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Lake Powell for a week this summer in July. The campground facility was great, although spread out a little. The walk to the lake was a 1/4 mile hike through a parking lot, it was very hot. There are shuttles that drive around the facility, but the schedule is sporadic, sometimes what should be a 15-minute wait becomes a 45-minute wait. But there is a lot to do, and if you know anything about Lake Powell, there is already lots to do. The sites are nice, and really nothing to complain about, and we where happy. But do not expect much as far as shade, or small hometown friendly service. They are a large company, and the people there are just doing their job. Another interesting observation was that people come and go quickly. We had three RVs and three sites. We where the only ones around that stayed every day. Around 9:30 each day hundreds of RV America RV's would pull out, and around 4:30pm another batch would cycle back in. Nice people, but no one stayed for long. We camped at Wahweap RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

Stayed here a few times. We enjoy Shasta with our boat and enjoying summer with family. This year was intense with the fires, but the folks here were friendly as always. We will be back next year. We camped at Antlers RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Joseph H. Stewart State Recreation Area, Prospect, Oregon

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed over Spring Break weekend with a few other families. Rangers and Hosts patrolled area a little much, like every 10 minutes a vehicle would drive by and look at what was going on. Not a huge deal, just a little obnoxious. Camp spot was clean and everything worked great. This place gets packed in the summer, it was great, with maybe 20 - 25 other campers during the springtime. We camped at Joseph H. Stewart State Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

Seven Feathers RV Resort, Canyonville, Oregon

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

We took a quick weekend trip with the kids to relax for the New Years weekend. Park was full, lots of nice rigs. Everyone was really friendly. The kids loved the pool and the trails. The community fire pits where fun, and a nice opportunity to meet others. We took the shuttle over to the casino and enjoyed the ice cream parlor. They have created a top-notch facility here! We camped at Seven Feathers RV Resort in a Motorhome.
