Graceland RV Park & Campground, Memphis, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is very convenient to the Graceland entrance. Sites are very close together. Found individuals at the campground and Graceland to be very brisk and abrupt, barking orders as directions. Laundry was clean and all the equipment was working. Used credit card to do laundry instead of feeding coins. The water connection was below grade in a plastic box that was filled with water. Sanitation was questionable. When called to the attention of the maintenance person he said he knew of the problem but had not had a chance to fix. However he had time to come across the park to tell me to move my truck since one wheel was on the grass. We camped at Graceland RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Monte Sano State Park, Huntsville, Alabama

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean family campground. Sites are spaced for privacy. Would return if we return to the area. Follow the route suggested by the website. There are some FHU sites available. The site we had was not. There are 2 dump stations on the way out. We camped at Monte Sano State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stone Mountain Park, Stone Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

They need to spend some money maintaining the park. The roads are filled with pot holes. Roots have grown under the payment and raised the payment. Campsites are unlevel and the pavement is broken up. We had a pull thru and the pad was badly broken up and unlevel. I give high marks to the shuttle service from the parking lot to the main area was great. We did not encounter a person at the park that was not courteous and helpful. We stayed in site 434 which was not in the main area of the campground. The closer you are to the main camping area the closer the campsites are to one another. We camped at Stone Mountain Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Ride the Shuttle to the attractions. Follow the directions into the campground that are posted on their website. If you go through the city of Stone Mountain the road passed under a LOW railroad bridge. Not an easy turnaround.
