Guajome County Park, Oceanside, California

Date of Stay: November, 2018 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed Thanksgiving Week Monday to Friday. Very quiet until Wednesday evening when all of the Thanksgiving family groups arrived. We were spending the holidays with family stationed at Camp Penelton - this park is conveniently located and the price is very right for this area. Lots to do walking trails, playground, volleyball court, horseshoes, etc. Campground is close to lots of shopping WalMart, Vons, fast food, and restaurants. Two negatives no sewer and no OTA stations. We would stay again. We camped at Guajome County Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed one night on the way to Oregon - nice wide pull thru sites -some of the roads were very rough deep potholes - the casino offered a great bar and quick service dinner. We had the buffet breakfast in the morning GREAT VALUE. Did not use the restrooms or pool - would stay again. We camped at RV Park at Rolling Hills Casino in a Travel Trailer.

Flag City RV Resort, Lodi, California

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

We were travelling on highway 5 between Southern Oregon and Bakersfield. We weren't sure we were going to find an acceptable RV park south of Sacramento. Saw the sign from the freeway and went to check it out. Very clean, easy pull thru's lots of gas stations, fast foods, Starbucks and coffee shops within walking distance. The park had a small convenience store with a good selection of local Lodi wines. The swimming pool was super clean and refreshing. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Coastal Dunes RV Park , Oceano, California

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Had planned a two week trip up the Oregon and Washington Coast but due to a family illness had to cancel. Had to stay within a few hours of my home and wanted to escape the heat. Plenty of availability at this park - stayed here over 10 years ago and nothing has changed. Noise from the trains and highway - restrooms and showers clean but very old - within walking distance of the beach. The back-in sites are very difficult to manage especially when there are campers in the sites across the way. They do have a pool which my granddaughters enjoyed. The folks camping there were great - lots of family groups and very friendly enjoyed meeting everyone - due to the noise probably wouldn't stay here again unless nothing else was available We camped at Coastal Dunes RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Westwind RV Park, Chetwynd, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

When we arrived the park was sold out but they did offer a spot with 15 amp in the parking lot of the Days Inn. The campground is full with workers; the parking lot crammed with big rigs. Very noisy in the am - but we were happy to get a spot. We camped at Westwind RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Mountain Shadows RV Park, Draper, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here 2 nights while visiting my sister. The swimming pool, dog run, grass areas, restrooms are quite clean and pleasant- all sites are very level with a nice picnic table and grass. This park is a mixture of RV park and mobile home park. The permanent residents 'homes" are a mixture of RV's with permanent features and run down mobiles - kind of sketchy. The park should designate additional "adults only" hours for the pool and it was always overrun with kids. We camped at Mountain Shadows RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Downtown RV Park, Watson Lake, Yukon

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Like many parks on the Al-Can, just a parking lot. But previous parks have at least had a nice view, some space and friendly owners. Park spaces here are very narrow and we could not extend our awning. While it's within walking distance of the Watson Lake Sign Post, not much else to recommend it. One positive: the best cable on the Al-Can so far.

Would not stay here again Not a good value. We camped at Downtown RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

River's Edge Resort, Fairbanks, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Booked 2 nights after reading the RV Park Reviews - we were so tired after the drive up the Al-Can we stayed 5 nights. All utilities worked well better than average OTA T.V. Channels. Sites are fairly close with little privacy - some grass at each site. Nice walking/bike trail close by as is an excellent Fred Meyer. We camped at River's Edge Resort in a Travel Trailer.
