Jamestown Campground, Jamestown, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

First impression wasn't good! When we got off the interstate we had to drive a mile or so on a dusty dirt road. If you are like my husband and want a clean coach, you would not be a "happy camper"!!! Enough said. The park staff were very nice and we were lead to our site. The sites are gravel with grass between sites. There are mature large trees which provide shade. There is a large area to walk your pets and a hiking trail for you and your pet which is 3/4 of a mile long. My family enjoyed the exercise after riding all day. We were here only one evening so we weren't able to check much out. They do have laundry area. We camped at Jamestown Campground in a Motorhome.

West Glacier KOA, West Glacier, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $79.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park. The sites are pull through, gravel, with picnic tables and fire ring and two small benches. The sites are spacious and have lots of grass. One problem at our site was lots of water which caused mud, even though we had grass. The water came from the sprinklers running every night. It was on the side all the hookups were. This park has a gift shop /grocery, a restaurant, it serves breakfast and supper, and there is also an ice cream shop. There are two pools, one adult only. There is also a hot tub. The laundry area was very nice. There is a dog walk area and a dog park. Besides the water issue the only other complaint would be the WiFi service. Even going down by their office didn't help a lot. Verizon talk & text was good but data was terrible. Overall it is a very nice park, and their flowers hanging everywhere were gorgeous! We camped at Glacier Campground in a Motorhome. Sunrise Campground, Bozeman, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

In this park the sites are very close to each other. They have tent sites also. We were only there to sleep so we can't give much info. The office lady was super nice and helpful. She offered us ear plugs because of train noise and road noise. I love to listen to trains so it wasn't a problem. We camped at Sunrise Campground in a Motorhome.

Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court Campground, Banff National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This park is in tiers, I think eight levels. Camping on both sides of the road which are gravel pull throughs. Lots of shade and grass. There is also a picnic table. The sites are very spacious and they have it so a site on one side is in between the closest ones across the road, which makes it more private. There really are no amenities other than near the entrance there is a bus stop for the shuttles back and forth to Banff National Park. There is a charge for this service and is different depending where you are going. Banff Park is literally breathtakingly beautiful!!! Since most people stay there to go to the park it supplies what they need. The town of Banff is a very unique, we enjoyed visiting there. We camped at Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court Campground in a Motorhome.

Camper's Haven RV and Tent Park, Donald, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The only game in area. Sites are close together and are grass. While we were there it was muddy, they said "they had had a lot of rain". Besides RV sites, they have cabins. WiFi weak, cell service good. They have long term people who most likely work on the road construction in area. It was very quiet and had lots of pine or evergreen trees. We did not use but they have a laundry facility. We camped at Camper's Haven RV and Tent Park in a Motorhome.

Claybanks RV Park, Merritt, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Merritt is called a desert area for Canada. I hear it is dry, hot and brown looking this time of year, but they have had quite a bit of rain this year so it is very green and the temperature was in the 70's. This park is small with lots of grass and very spacious lots, with mature trees. All the sites are gravel. The staff was very helpful and so very nice. There is a wash room but no laundry area. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Claybanks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Merritt is known as the country music capital of Canada. Also, The Douglas lake Ranch is Canada's largest working cattle ranch. There are over 200 lakes within an hours drive. We ate at The Game On Pub, it was delicious!!! Pricing was great also.

Eagle Wind RV Park, Aldergrove, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are close but have lots of privacy. There are thick, tall hedges between the sites. They are all gravel and have a picnic table. There is a large grassy area that you can take your dogs to, this was important to us. We used the laundromat, it had four washers and four dryers. It was clean and the machines worked fine. You have to use Canadian coins. The staff were very nice. We camped at Eagle Wind RV Park in a Motorhome.

Seven Feathers RV Resort, Canyonville, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Everything you would want in an RV resort. Beautiful, clean, quiet. It is a casino resort area. There is a free shuttle service to and from casino. We were there one evening and night so the only thing we did was go to the buffet at the casino in evening. The food was only fair, nothing to write home about, BUT it was only $13.00. At the casino building there was another restaurant and an ice cream place and at least one shop. There are many amenities at this resort, an indoor heated pool, a fitness center, media center etc. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Seven Feathers RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Napa Valley Expo RV Park, Napa, California

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. We were there one afternoon and night. We have a large dog and so they put us in a very large grassy area with a good amount of shade. It was very quiet and pleasant. Not many amenities, no pool or store etc. Some of our family took an Uber to a few of the wineries in the area, they had a good time. We had two RV's side by side. We would stay here again. We camped at Napa Valley Expo RV Park in a Motorhome.

Columbia Sun RV Resort, Kennewick, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This park is as good as it gets!!! Huge sites with a glider and matching picnic table and lots of grass. It's a newer park so the trees are not very big yet, but it is beautiful. Everything is top notch. There is a nice pool, also a nice gift shop. There are lots of fun things to do for the whole family. The first night we stayed there was free homemade ice cream and karaoke. The next night they had a free movie, Dumbo. If I could rate it more than 10, I would. We would love to stay here again. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Ancient Redwoods RV Park, Redcrest, California

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Small, quiet park with a beautiful setting. When you enter park there is a very nice gift shop and a very friendly staff. Outside there is a huge cut redwood tree that we climbed into and took pictures. There is also a path you can walk that takes you into all these huge redwoods, one that had fallen over had clover growing all over it. So beautiful! They also had flower boxes that had gorgeous flowers, all different colors. Near our site they had an old, green logging truck where the back of it was made out of redwood. It was so cool. We would definitely stay again. The WiFi was not good, our daughter and son in law walked out to the little garage shed type place and sat at a little table in order to use it. They have a cellular booster there and up at the gift shop office. We camped at Ancient Redwoods RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yosemite Lakes RV Resort - Thousand Trails, Groveland, California

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $74.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 3 nights, and rode the bus to Yosemite national park. The Yarts bus picked us up and dropped us off right by the office. This is the best way to see park because of very limited parking in the park. This is a great park for families, the kids while we were there played basketball and volley ball all day long. The park has a three tiered setting, we were on the second tier which gave us a view of the play area. Our only complaint was the sites are dirt and gravel and our large dog had leaves and dirt all through her fur and we could not keep our RV clean. WiFi was available near the office, but You could pay for WiFi at your site but it mostly up and down. No Verizon cellular at all. We camped at Yosemite Lakes RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Marina Dunes RV Park, Marina, California

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $87.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed two nights in a motorhome. In some of the other reviews they spoke about the park being noisy, but we had no problem at all. We did laundry, the laundry area was very clean and machines worked well. We have a large dog and she likes grass for potty purposes of which there was none. That was a negative. The sites are shorter. On the positive side there are trees and or shrubs between sites for privacy. You have access to beach but it is quite a hike. We Ubered to Monterey and Carmel, had very good experience with all the drivers. We would stay here again, the staff were very nice. We camped at Marina Dunes RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We ate in Carmel at the "Tree Top Restaurant", which we enjoyed very much. Sitting outside on a patio was very pleasant. We ate in Monterey at the "Sand Bar and Grill", it was very good and was on the water. One evening we ate at the "Fish Hopper Restaurant", which was also on the water and was also excellent. Some of our group went to the aquarium in Monterey and they loved it.

Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground, Buellton, California

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

The office staff gave us cookies when we checked in, not only us but our dog too. The park was very active, lots of children and dogs. Our site was concrete and level . We had a grill and picnic table and fire ring. Our site was right behind the office and the little cafe, which was very nice. It was very close to a pool and hot tub. Our daughter and grand daughter braved the cooler temperature and used them. Our site was mostly in the sun, but there are lots of big trees so if you need shade you have lots of possible choices. The sites are pretty close together and most are gravel. Roads are gravel and could be a little tight for big rigs, but there were quite a few at the park. We camped at Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.
