Beaver's Bend State Park RV Campground, Broken Bow, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I grew up in Broken Bow and Buckeye campground is one of my favorite camping sites in the world. We usually camp in the early spring and late fall (during the week) to avoid the crowds. This campground is located on Mountain Fork River just downstream from the dam and spillway of Broken Bow Lake. The campground is monitored by an onsite attendant that is very nice and helpful... it is clean and shaded and the view of the river is just amazing. We come here to RELAX!!! :) Rainbow trout are found in the river and on a good day you can catch your limit easily. The best fishing is just a few miles away directly below the spillway. If you are looking for a great quite vacation, this is the place to be. :) We camped at Beaver's Bend State Park RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Broken Bow Lake is a must see... crystal clear water and the lake is over 180 feet deep in the river channel. Beautiful!! Many hiking trails... I suggest hiking down the trail just past the spillway going into the park for great photo ops with the family. Lots of new restaurants in the area if you want to eat out. Overall I give this park a 10+++++!!! A great get-away!!!
