Ouray RV Park & Cabins, Ouray, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This was our second time staying here. We stayed for 35 days. If you are staying in Ouray then this is the place to be. The sites are spaced out pretty well. Amazing views, a river, walking distance to the Hot Springs and Town. The staff is amazing and always helpful. They have a restaurant on site but we never ate at it so I can't review the food. It was pretty pricey. The laundry room is excellent with large machines and plenty of them. Propane on site is very easy to use. I had them fill my MH and a 5 gallon bottle. It's a gravel park but not too dusty. The wifi is very good! I have stayed at all the campgrounds in and around Ouray and this is hands down the best place to be. Big Rig friendly. We will be back. We camped at Ouray RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Glenwood Springs West / Colorado River KOA, Silt, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 4 nights and loved this KOA. It is probably the best KOA we have ever stayed at. Our site was long enough for our 41' MH, Jeep and the neighbors full size truck and we still had room. (We let them park in our spot since they didn't have room in theirs). Our site was level, good WiFi and great views. Fishing was great on the Colorado River only steps away. Very Clean park, lots of grass and the sites are spaced out very well. Probably the only KOA that doesn't smash everyone in together. This KOA is big rig friendly. We camped at Glenwood Springs West / Colorado River KOA in a Motorhome.

Elk Meadow Lodge & RV Resort, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $71.00
Overall Rating:

Can't say enough about the staff here. We planned on a 7 day stay but the weather turned bi-polar on us. It ended up snowing like crazy all over Colorado. The mountain passes were not really safe for travel in a 41' MH. We ended up extending our stay by 3 days until the weather broke. The staff was very helpful and made sure we had a place to stay. The campground itself is clean and has AMAZING views. The deer and elk will visit you almost everyday. This place is Big Rig friendly. Great location!! We camped at Elk Meadow Lodge & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Louisville South KOA, Shepherdsville, Kentucky

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 3 night. Very pretty campground with lots of big trees. The staff was friendly. The campground itself is a typical KOA with everyone right next to each other and our site was not even close to be level. We were so close to the guy next to use he couldn't use his fire ring since it was sitting under one of my slide outs. The hook ups worked fine, but they really need to take care of the roads and level the sites. Lot's of deep tire tracks in the mud and when the ground dried it became an off roading event with my MH. Check your site before you drive to it. Ours had a large tree that ended up being inches away from the rear slide. Never used the bathrooms or showers. Pretty nice playground for the kids and there was the KOA bouncer to use. We camped at Louisville South KOA in a Motorhome.

Jacksonville North / St. Marys KOA, Kingsland, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

Typical KOA. Except for the first couple rows this place needs to be cleaned up. Lots of long term residents that are hoarders. Lots of trashy sites. Our site was pretty trashed (cable was a mess, standing water that smelled like sewer, not very level) the staff is very friendly and helpful. Good camp store and they do have a small restaurant. Not sure how it is we didn't use it. Lots to do for the kids of you have them with you. Good for a quick stay. We camped at Jacksonville North / St. Marys KOA in a Motorhome.

South Shore Park on Lake Bastrop, Bastrop, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This place is a gem. Beautiful area with a lake. Our full hook up site had tons of trees, lots of room for our 41' MH and 4dr Jeep. Even with the heavy trees our Dish worked great. We were the only ones at the campground except for the camp host. Super quiet and private. We camped at South Shore Park on Lake Bastrop in a Motorhome.

The MotorCoach Resort, Chandler, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 3 months at this park. It is a very clean well kept park. Very big rig friendly with large pads. Lot's of parking for vistors. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. This place was very convenient for us as we were there visiting family in the are for the holidays. The only negatives I have is the noise is pretty numbing since you are right next to a major interstate. The price is way too high for this park. They do not offer weekly or monthly rates. We paid $400 (with tax) per week. Lot's to do in the area and real close to the airport. We camped at The MotorCoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Great views at this park. The location is great! You can walk to town. Except for a few sites, they are crazy close together. My awning covered part of the trailer next to us. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The laundry room was clean but only had two washing machines and three dryers working. We camped at 4J+1+1 RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Ouray RV Park & Cabins, Ouray, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We liked this park a lot. Easy to get around in our 41" MH. All gravel lot and our site was not very level. We had to use blocks to try and get level. Great views of the mountains!! The staff at the park is very friendly and helpful. The laundry room is huge with lots of big machines and very clean. Kinda close to your neighbor but there is enough room to set up a chair, bbq, etc. Nice 1.5 mile walk way around the creek behind the RV park. We camped at Ouray RV Park & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Park City RV Resort, Park City, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in one of the premium sites that had a concrete slab. Very level and full hooks ups. Our site had a ton of room and had a gazebo that sat 6 people with a table. Not sure what a previous reviewer was saying about you have to 5 years or newer to stay in a premium site. My coach is 7 years old!! I was never asked how old my coach was just how long it was. This is one of our favorite parks so far. Great view of the hills, was able to Mtn. Bike numerous trails right from the RV park, lots of hiking and really close to the city. We sat outside every night with binoculars and watched all the wildlife on the hills. Lot's of deer!! Very clean park with a nice pool. The laundry machines could use a little TLC but everything worked fine. The staff was very helpful and very nice. We camped at Park City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley , Moran, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

The price per night reflects all the taxes that gets added to your bill when you pay (the resort tax alone is $10 a day). The park is in a great location and beautiful views. Our site needed to be graded. It had pot holes that made it very difficult to get level. We got close. We didn't use the restrooms or showers only the laundry. The laundry room was dirty and the machines were not clean. Kinda gross!! There is a bar that is on site if you are into that. The gas station on site is big rig friendly. We camped at Fireside Resort at Buffalo Valley in a Motorhome.

This is one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed in. Very clean, paved roads, great store/gift shop. Lot's to do if you have kids. The park is always full but it has a great "vibe" about it.
