Hermann City Park Campground, Hermann, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful city park. Small area at the south side of the park had some trees and grassy areas. It was very nice. Full hookups. Another area was in a parking lot with full hookups. Probably gets a lot of use during festivals. Came on a Wednesday and was the only unit here. We have really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The city park is very nice. We camped at Hermann City Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Lake of the Ozarks KOA (formerly Ozark Trails RV Park and Campground), Linn Creek, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

They are just changing over to KOA. Bathhouse was great. Newly renovated and clean. Cable reception was poor. Sites need some spring cleaning. Sites are pretty unlevel. Jacks wouldn't automatically extend because we were at too much of an angle. Moved to another site that was a little better. Gravel surface. Considerable drop-off to the picnic table and fire pit. Didn't have level ground around the fire pit to place chairs. I suspect sites will improve with the new KOA branding. We camped at Lake of the Ozarks KOA (formerly Ozark Trails RV Park and Campground) in a Motorhome.

Tievoli Hills Resort, Clarksville, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here in April, second year in a row. Small quiet park down the hill from the resort. Restrooms and showers very nice. Listening to the birds chirping in the day and you can hear the coyotes at night. Very relaxing. No TV reception here, so it's really getting away. We'll continue to visit here every year. We camped at Tievoli Hills Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Small shops in Clarksville. Clarksville is on the Mississippi River with a lock and dam. Great way to see the barges coming through. Hundreds of eagles winter here with easy viewing.
