Elks Lodge #829 (Members Only), St Augustine, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Sites have new water and 50amp electric with a security light on each pole. We had no problem with the power at our site. First five sites are on crushed run that is fairly level but not front to back. Currently there is no dump but there is one at the nearby KOA down the street for a fee. They have WIFI but it was not usable from the camper location. Very active lodge and is open each day. They provide online camping reservations which are easy to use. The lodge itself is non-smoking. The Elks are making additions to the facility including sewer connections at the campground and a very large tiki bar that should open within the month. The lodge is in a great location with it's boundary backing up to Anastasia State Park. Located on A1A that makes it close to the beaches and a short drive into the city. The Elks provides parking for the large amphitheater next door. Check the St. Augustine Amphitheater website for the concert schedule because the parking lot becomes very full with sometimes over 300 vehicles on concert nights and would be impossible to park your camper if you arrive late. After concerts the area is quite. Another plus of this location is the Farmers Market that is at the amphitheater parking lot on Saturday mornings from 8:30 - 12:30. The gate from the lodge to the market is open to make it an easy walk over and in fact some of the locals park at the lodge to visit the market. We camped at Elks Lodge #829 (Members Only) in a Fifth Wheel.

Marsh Lake Campground (Yukon Government), Whitehorse, Yukon

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Nice large wooded campground near the lake. Dry camping, no dump, water pump capped off. Pit toilets. Trash cans. There is water at the next door recreation area, but not what one can fill RV with. Had Verizon cell service. Got site 4 close to lake and had enough sun to use solar. Long sites but not that level. Beautiful views of Marsh Lake from campground and there were trails to the lake from some sites. We camped at Marsh Lake Campground (Yukon Government) in a Fifth Wheel.

Washoe County Park, Anaconda, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

The camping loop is located on the east end of the park beyond the pond. It is a dirt road with plenty of grass. We enjoyed the scenery and peacefulness of this time of year. We camped there off-season and had the camping loop to ourselves besides a rushing stream. The cost is $10 and in season paid at the pool. The park contact numbers are located on a sign at the entrance to the camping loop. No reservations, site numbers, etc. There is a five day stay limit. The park has swimming pool, baseball diamond, tennis courts, etc. The sites are not laid out specifically but some have picnic tables. No hookups but at the end of the loop there is a water spigot at ground level. There are two gas stations in town that have RV dumps. We camped at Washoe County Park in a Fifth Wheel.
