Bayport RV Park and Campground, Warren, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Our site was pre-assigned when we registered and we found the reservation sign posted on the site when we arrived. It is a nice small park with mostly paved sites and all appeared to be level. We had plenty of room for the motorhome and toad and there was a picnic table and fire ring. All of the sites have enough space that you could put awnings out even with slide-outs. It was near a road, but the road noise was never a problem. Very convenient to Portland, St Helens and the area around them and easy access to highway 30. Check in is at the port office which is by the boat ramp. We did not see a dump station. We will plan on staying there again. We camped at Bayport RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort, Salem, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

They assigned us a site when we reserved. We arrived late (about 9 PM). Found our packet at the late checkin station. Drove right to out nice pull through site. Very easy. Excellent WIFI. This park is very clean and super well maintained. Sites are level and paved and our site was long enough to leave the toad connected. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pine Near RV Park, Winthrop, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very nicely maintained park with super friendly staff. Easy access to town, local lakes, etc. We had great Verizon signal, easy setup for the Dish satellite and the local WIFI worked great. We would recommend this park to anyone staying near Winthrop and we liked it better than the state parks, but then we are not boaters or into fishing. Sites are grass and some have more room around them than others. We had plenty of room and never felt crowded. Signs of deer around the park, but we didn't get to actually see any of them. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Pine Near RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Downtown is a bit of a down and uphill walk, but the town is lots of fun to browse. Lots of places within easy driving distance for day trips adds to the variety of things to do around here. The local museum is a treasure of history of the local area and also provides some great insight into what kind of life the early pioneers all over the west would have had. During this part of the year, the museum is open all week, but the buildings are only open during the weekends (Fri-Mon).

Lakeshore RV Park, Chelan, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Park is exceptionally clean and neat. Beautiful lawn area and easy walk to lake shore and into town. River walk is about a mile long and easy to get to from park. Only problem is all the sites are slopped and it is difficult to get a motorhome level. Since each site is paved, it is hard to understand why they are not level. Had very good Verizon signal and easy access to Dish satellites. Definitely will stay again when we return to Chelan. We camped at Lakeshore RV Park in a Motorhome.

Whalers Rest RV & Camping Resort, South Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

The park shows some nice upgrades since our last stay here. The pool is looking very nice and the North campground has an excellent WIFi package. The cable TV (which costs extra) offers 125 channels. They give you a list of sites that shows which ones support roof or tripod satellite options. Even though it is before the summer season, the park is pretty full so definitely plan to make reservations as far in advance as you can. There is a nice trail from the south campground to the beach, but you have to cross hwy 101. Great location for exploring the central Oregon coast. We camped at Whalers Rest RV & Camping Resort in a Motorhome.
