Raleigh Oaks RV Resort, Four Oaks, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Chose this campground as a stop over going north on I-95. Stayed 3 nights. Very easy on/off from the interstate. Everything in the park appears to be new or remodeled. Utilities worked very well and were nicely placed. Restrooms/showers were setup as private suites, each with there own entrance. They were immaculate. Sites are well maintained but with very little vegetation for privacy. Pool areas were very nice. Overnighters were kept closer to the front with long term/ permanents in a different area. I plan to use this campground in the future as it's roughly half way from NJ and FL state line. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Shady Pines RV Resort (55+ park), Galloway, New Jersey

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Made reservation for a month plus sight unseen. A very small and very quiet park with mostly long term residents. Roads are paved, sites have small stone base. Sites have poor separation and little visual appeal. Some sites require work to get your rig level. Water, electric, and sewer worked well. Cable TV requires a box (campground provides) and offers at least 75 channels, some in HD. 3rd party WiFi was frustrating and mostly unusable. Small friendly staff. Amenities of note... pool, small dog park, small playground, laundry. This campground is a good choice for a short stop-over but not so much a destination unless Atlantic City appeals to you. Some Jersey beaches are 30 mins to 1 hr away. Plenty of shopping and dining options within 5 miles though nothing is a walkable distance. We camped at Shady Pines RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Access to the Atlantic City Expwy and Garden State Pkwy are close and easy. Several places nearby to fuel up with easy egress for big rigs.
