Port Ludlow RV Park, Port Ludlow, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here based on previous reviews...and weren't disappointed. The park is clean, check-in was quick and friendly. Our site, 31, was wide and easy to get in and out of with our 37' trailer. We did hear some road noise but it's just from the road in/out of Port Ludlow. This is a shady, shady park with very little sun even on the sunniest days. The perimeter spaces seem to all be long term residents, but most are tidy. We camped at Port Ludlow RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon, Salem, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice RV park with level concrete pads. Some sites are "super" sites and have an extra space for parking and a little patio. Interior roads are paved and easy to navigate. The landscaping is very nice and well-maintained. Blackberry bushes surround the park and are "easy pickin'." Lots of grassy areas and a fenced area for dogs. Check in was easy and all 3 staff members I encountered were very accommodating, pleasant and friendly. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Travel Trailer.

Humbug Mountain State Park, Port Orford, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a well-maintained and clean park. Also, a very busy place in the summer with lots of families and kiddos. The interior roads are asphalt and fairly easy to navigate, but a little tight for our 37' travel trailer. Our site was a tight fit getting in but very shady and private with 8' flowering hedges between us and either neighbor and no site behind us. A bit of noise from Hwy 101 can be heard. There is a short and easy walk to the beach under the highway. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Humbug Mountain State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Ancient Redwoods RV Park, Redcrest, California

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This is a conveniently located RV park for sight-seeing in the redwoods. Although we didn't use the facilities they do appear to be clean and well-maintained. Check-in was easy and the staff very friendly and helpful. We were fortunate to arrive when the blackberries were ripe and plentiful and easy to pick right around the perimeter of the park! I wish I'd done a Google maps satellite view before our stay; I was hoping for a site IN the redwoods. This park has been completely cleared of native trees and now has few small fruit trees between spaces...not much in the way of shade. The interior roads and sites are asphalt. We were in site #39, a pull-through, HOWEVER, there was an box/panel (electric?) between our site and the one next to us which didn't allow us to "pull through" to get out as it was too close and our 37' trailer would have hit it. Almost any other site would have been OK for us to actually pull through although I did see one or two big rigs leave with their toad unattached to later connect in a bigger area. I rated it 9 because of tight turns for bigger rigs and no shade. We camped at Ancient Redwoods RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Fort Beale RV Park, Kingman, Arizona

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean park with easy access from I-40. The pull-through sites are perpendicular to the interior roads making it a little iffy getting our 37' trailer out without hitting the little lamp posts between each site near the road. The sites were fairly level, the park is clean and check-in was pleasant and friendly. We'd stay here again. We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Cabin.

Flag City RV Resort, Lodi, California

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with concrete slabs and mature trees at each site. Interior roads are paved and easy to navigate. Close proximity to Flying J other services stations and fast food places. Relatively quiet considering how close it is to I-5. We'd stay here again. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Orange Grove RV Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We really like this park! We stayed a few years ago, when the citrus trees were very small. Now, they're big enough to give nice shade. The sites are wide, graveled and fairly level. The interior roads are wide and most are asphalt or concrete. Very easy in and out. Both times we've stayed our RV GPS has sent us to the wrong exit, Hwy 184 instead of Edison Rd. There's no reason to not exit at Edison Rd. We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

L'équipe du Camping Sainte-Madeleine, Montréal-Est, Quebec

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park is primarily made up of seasonal sites. The RVs are packed in and are so close together and situated in every direction that it reminds one of a tent city the likes of which are found in many large cities with homeless populations. Most of the seasonal sites are cluttered with tacky yard ornaments, tiny little sheds and a wide variety and condition of gazebos. Our bedroom slide was less than 3 feet from the neighbors gazebo which they used to loudly converse until 2 am every night we were there. Our site was supposed to be large enough to accommodate a 37' TT but it took considerable maneuvering to get it parked. Reception staff was friendly however, most of the residents were so unfriendly as to be rude. Many would stare until they passed but would quickly turn their heads when we waved or said hello. We will certainly never consider staying here again nor can we recommend it to others. We camped at L'équipe du Camping Sainte-Madeleine in a Travel Trailer.

Woodsong Campground, Ogilvie, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

I can't say enough nice things about the owners of this park. Our pickup just barely managed to run long enough to get our trailer parked before it died. The owners went above and beyond to help us, offering to give us a ride to pick up a rental car (even though the nearest place to get a rental was 45 miles away). They rearranged their reservations to accommodate us, letting us stay in our site for 3 days longer than planned. The park itself is mostly seasonal sites, but is very clean and tidy, quiet and friendly. An excellent experience.

The nightly sites are easy to get to and are all back-in. Interior road is gravel and sufficiently wide for maneuverability. The park is clean and tidy. Check-in was quick and easy, access to the park is through a key-pad gate so the area is secure. We camped at Woodsong Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Kanab RV Corral, Kanab, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice RV park with friendly staff, quick and easy check-in. Our site was on the back row away from the main road so it was a bit quieter. There is a nice little dog area with green grass and shade. The facilities are clean and very nice. There was adequate room to back our 37' travel trailer and adequate space between sites for awnings and picnic table. This was our second stay; we will happily stay here again if we're in the area. We camped at Kanab RV Corral in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We ate at Nedra's Too, just across the street to the north. There was a bit of a long wait for the food, but it was good.
