River Park RV Park, Valdosta, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Not a park for motorhomes or RV with slides. Lots very narrow and pad is narrow and on a slope with dips in pavement making it impossible to level unit. To close to extend slides and too much slope to extend slides so we ate at Chic-Fil-A and slept with all slides in and left early. The park is clean and well manicured and great for fifth wheels and trailers that like complete shade. I took pics of the only sunny lots and they are the lots on excess slope. Also these lots are very close to interstate with loud trucks all night long. Roads of park too narrow to navigate without driving on grass to navigate corners. All in all it was better than a truck stop! And price low. We camped at River Park RV Park in a Motorhome.

Harvest Moon RV Park, Adairsville, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Park is very clean and well maintained with good roads and attractive street lamps. Small trees and nice landscaping with good satellite and Verizon service. Very long lots. We are 45 ft with tow and had extra length. Some sites appear to be buddy but ours was not. Lots are close but staggered so you have privacy. We camped at Harvest Moon RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cave Country RV Campground, Cave City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean, pretty, and well manicured park. Nice picnic tables and fire pits. Mammoth cave close about 15 min drive with cave tours and hiking. Book tours ahead online. Full hookups and few trees make satellite reception good. Nice services with garbage pick up daily. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Soaring Eagle Hideaway RV Park, Mt Pleasant, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $74.00
Overall Rating:

Pricey for the area. Higher rates on weekends. Nice cement pads and manicured lawns. Nice facilities for children with volley ball, swimming, fishing, and boat rentals plus water park at casino hotel. Not much to do in the area if you aren't into casinos. There is free shuttle to casino. Full services however we requested satellite friendly site but had no reception. Poor Verizon service if you use phone hotspot for internet access. They do have WiFi but I cannot use for my work access. Pull through sites only have 30 amp service...50 amp only available on back in sites. Lots are very small. Nice picnic tables and friendly service. We camped at Soaring Eagle Hideaway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Most good restaurants are south side of town near CMU campus. Free shuttle to Soaring Eagle Casino. Promo points at casino if you use the hotel or water park but no points for RV resort?.

Four Seasons RV Park and Campground (formerly Valley Plaza Resort RV P, Midland, Michigan

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Nearly all lots have trees that hang on top of the RV. The lawn is not mowed and very unitedly. Lots are not level. Seems the electrical was not full 30 amp consistently. The 50 amp was good but we had to move to 30 amp cause lot was grass and too uneven. Inadequate trash containers and trash accumulates outside container. Only few 50 amp lots but they are gravel and not level. We moved to 30 amp site to have cement pad but do not think it was consistent 30 amp service. Picnic tables are rotted wood with nails showing. A few lots did have new tables. The dog walk is in childrens play area. We would not stay here as we had previous bad experience here with bugs from low hanging trees but we had no other place as we had to be in midland due to illness in family. Roads in park were bad with multiple pot holes. We camped at Four Seasons RV Park and Campground (formerly Valley Plaza Resort RV P in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Nice restaurant close by. Indoor swimming pool. Small pond on property. This seems to be part of a run down hotel complex that is closed however it appeared there may be some people living in some of the vacant rooms.

Cove Oceanfront Campground, Parker's Cove, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $77.00
Overall Rating:

We had a beautiful large lot with sewer, water and 30 amp electricity however we had no phone service (BELL, Rogers or Telus) and therefore could not place calls or use our phone internet service. The wifi in park did not work either unless you sat next to the pole with access located on a lower tier of park. We had planned to stay 6 days and were required to pay 5 days in advance however we had to leave after 2 days as I was not able to work from the site (no phone or wifi service). My issue is more with the requirement to pay 5 days in advance with no refund for a promised service but then, when you arrive, the wifi service does not work. We camped at Cove Oceanfront Campground in a Motorhome.
