Newberry Mountain RV and Motel Park, Newberry Springs, California

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Small camp ground with easy access to and from highway, the lady in the office was very nice and accommodating. 50 amp sites were short so we had to take our car off the tow dolly to not block the road, the 30 amp sites are much longer, they also offer dry camping. They charge for Wifi so we used our Verizon hot spot, there are several channels of OTA. Good stop for a night or two. We camped at Newberry Mountain RV and Motel Park in a Motorhome.

Destiny RV Resort, Goodyear, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean park, friendly staff, easy to get in and out of. Our site was an end pull thru a little short for our 34 ft coach with tow dolly and car, once the car was off it was just long enough. Pipe in the concrete was cocked. I was not able to screw my bayonet in had to use a rock to hold it in place. The pool was clean, they have a small putting green and a pickle ball court, the rec hall and gym were nice. The OTA was good, Wifi was just ok it was slow so we used our hot spot. They have many fruit trees that you are welcome to pick from. There are restaurants and excellent food shopping close by. Their 6 month rates a very good, this would be a great snowbird park without the crowds of Mesa but still close enough to Phoenix. We camped at Destiny RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rose Valley RV Ranch, Silver City, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We were with a rally group none of the pull thru sites were even close to being level, most of us drove up on leveling pads to keep from having the front wheels off the ground. The sites have lots of room, no picnic tables or fire rings and we were not allowed to cook using charcoal, propane was ok. No washing of RVs allowed, all sites and roads are dusty, you would think they would let you rinse off the dirt. The grounds are nice to walk there is a barn for large groups to gather. There is an excellent recycling area, the WIFI is very fast and OTA television is good. The office staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would stay again. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Gila Cliff Dwellings are awesome to see, there are lots of hiking trails and beautiful mountain views. Millies bake house is a great little restaurant in historic section of Silver City, the Buckhorn Saloon restaurant although famous was way over priced and we thought the food was just edible, dont waste your money even the beer was over priced great atmosphere though.

Dream Catcher RV Park - Escapees Rainbow Park, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Large gravel spaces easy hookups, clean no frills RV park. Club house is clean there is a pool room with dart board, ice cream for sale. We were told that the pool next door at the hotel can be used by people staying at the park. Didn't find the office person at check in to be very friendly, not rude or anything but just not friendly. We expect when dealing with other RVers you be friendly as well as informative, when we work RV offices as work campers we go out of our way to be courteous. There are no picnic tables or fire rings provided, lots of RVs in and out everyday. We would stay again but only for short stays. We camped at Dream Catcher RV Park - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Easy access from RT10, also convenient to gas and shopping in Fort Stockton. Good for a day or 2 stay, extremely dusty our coach and car were really dirty after 2 days. The owner greeted us and was very nice, we were offered a discount for cash. Water, Electric and Sewer hook ups were easy strong Verizon signal, good WIFI and good OTA television. Hidden Valley RV Park, Von Ormy, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 1 night with Passport, second night full price. The average was $30.00, nice small campground clean and very quite. We had a site on the lower level surrounded by woods and fields with a creek across the road behind us. They have a few community fire pits and rotate there use on Saturday nights, everyone is invited. Very nice people, they called us when we were on the road to alert us to a road closure that lead to the Park. Check in was easy the owner greeted us at the stop sign next to the office and invited us in. Verizon worked fine, OTA TV we got 54 stations using our signal booster. Bathrooms, Showers and Laundry were clean and modern. Only 2 things kept them from 5 stars, the entrance road and all roads in the park are dirt, very dusty and the picnic tables are just home made and in need of care. We would stay again when passing thru. We camped at Hidden Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

South Forty RV Ranch (55+ Park), Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for 1 night pretty tight for our 34 ft coach, we had to disconnect the car at the office then pull to our site disconnect the tow dolly and push into the site. You have to be escorted in and out in the morning which we were not told so the person doing the escorting in the morning got irritated with us when we trying to find our way out. This is just OK for an over night stay it was close to Freedom RV repair which is where we were going for service. We camped at South Forty RV Ranch (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Wow we really enjoyed our stay, this was the cleanest park we have stayed in, every person we encountered working at the Park, Hotel, Stores and Train Depot were absolutely friendly and helpful. Lots of things to do, there is a Brewery next door with excellent food, a short walk from the park to old RT 66 in downtown Williams and of coarse the Train to the Grand Canyon, we felt it was to pricey so we choose to drive. You have full use of the hotel facilities which include an indoor heated pool, hot tub and exercise room. There is a nice laundry room centrally located in the RV park as well as cable TV and WIFI all excellent. The prices in restaurants down town are expensive so we ate at the old DQ, the food was good and ice cream better at half the cost. We will be staying again. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ken's Lake - BLM, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We got the last site available on a Friday afternoon, this is a beautiful camp ground with amazing views, we dry camped for 5 days. I would suggest arriving in the middle of the week to get a better choice of sites. Its a short drive (11 miles) to Arches National Park which we found to be very crowded. So many other things to do in the area hiking, biking, 4 wheeling, we hiked all around the camp ground which has a nice waterfall when there is water and many other trails. The Lake was almost dry when we were there, but several storms were helping put some water back. The rules for generator use 8am to 8pm and keeping vehicles on maintained roads in the camp ground are strictly enforced. There is no OTA TV but we streamed HULU without a problem, we will stay again. We camped at Ken's Lake - BLM in a Motorhome.

Oquirrh Inn Motel & RV Park, Lake Point, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The park is good for 1 or 2 days, not the cleanest place we have stayed in. OTA TV was good and Cell service good. We needed to have a chip in the Motorhome glass repaired as well as a broken windshield on the car, the hotel had no problem with us having it done at our site. We had the last site on the far end. If you end up in a middle site or on the end closest the hotel you may have a problem getting in the site straight. I would suggest asking for site 7 thru 10. We would stay again if passing thru. We camped at Oquirrh Inn Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone Golf Resort, Ashton, Idaho

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Cute Park in the middle of Hay Fields with an Executive golf coarse, very dry and dusty but nice just the same. 2 channels of OTA TV and WIFI only at the office. Our only complaint was being charged $50 for Friday and Saturday I believe their daily rate is $40 we had Passport America Sunday thru Thursday at $20, Friday and Saturday at $50 and $40 for the next Sunday then $20 for Monday because they were shutting off the water for the season. The Laundry room was very nice and the Bathroom was clean, the Park was very quiet mainly because there there few campers at seasons end. We would stay again but only at Passport rates $40 is a bit steep for this park. We camped at Yellowstone Golf Resort in a Motorhome.
