Springwood RV Park, Greenville, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed from March 2018 until May 2019. There is always trash on the ground by the dumpster. New paved road left my site flooded everytime it rained. My concerns were ignored. Bathrooms always nasty. New boy doing weed eating put a hole in my sewer hose. Management said they would take care of it. But never heard anything back on it till I was leaving. When I asked about it again, I was told they weren't gonna replace it. So for the past month or so raw sewage has been pouring onto the ground. No telling how many people have holes in their hoses. Just be more raw sewage on the ground. Jets across street are really loud. Train goes by about 8 times every 24 hours. Most the time the horn was extremely loud. Can't imagine being next to track. Manager told me her husband didn't have people skills. She was right. I saw my power bill and it said past due - over 300. I asked about it. Her husband yelled at me and got very offensive. Still seems shady. Bad place to rent. I'd go anywhere but there. You get fined $50 if you don't clean up after your dog. But there are other dogs that will poop in your yard. I have a pic to prove it. And they increased my rent not long after I got there. We camped at Springwood RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Springwood RV Park, Greenville, South Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

I moved in for long term. I checked out all RV parks in Greenville. Of all of them, this was the best value. I saw reviews on the old manager and they were not good. However, they have new management. Very nice and extremely helpful staff. I see improvements being done all the time. They recently paved, took down dead trees, and really cleaned the place up. A lot of people say it's not a safe neighborhood, they are so wrong. I feel very safe here. Tenants here are very polite and quiet. I really like it here and I'm so glad I chose Springwood. Best of all, it's right in the middle of everywhere. Close to everywhere. As far as the train is concerned, It's not bad either. Last train runs through at 9:30 pm. Normally the conductors will blow their horn in short increments. I made the right decision to stay here. Rent rates are $325 a month and you pay your own power. Water, septic, trash, and wifi are all free. They have different rates for temporary campers. From what I understand they are reasonable on those as well. I hope that if you decide to read old reviews you will take into consideration that it was under old management. It is nothing like the old reviews I read here. You should give them a try. You will be very happy with it now. They are even planning a potluck supper meet for all tenants this month. Great way to know your neighbors. You won't find anything better or affordable. Happy Camping Y'all!! We camped at Springwood RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
