IB Crow Campground , Monticello, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

My fiancee and I thought that there was going to be more to do at the IBcrow campsite, they only had the swimming pool which looked to be clean, we didn't get in. The value for the site is a bit too much, we could had stayed at a hotel for the price. Not much to do but utilize our camper. The Indiana beach campground & IBcrow share some of the amenities but they are all on the Indiana campsite ground. I saw a mini-golf course, game room, water slide and other activities for families that need some TLC , looks run down; we didn't use any of the campground amenities due to this. Our site was 83 and someone was in our space when we checked in; we didn't know this until we drove to our spot, we had to call the office, the lady asked if we could just move into the space next to it, we did but they need to get this together. There was a lot of ant hills everywhere we stepped, the grass was not in good shape at all. The space needed much more gravel then that was there, very unlevel. There was no garbage for each site, we had to walk to a dumper at least 4 to 5 times a day, not convenient! We enjoyed ourselves inside our camper for the most part and enjoyed a little outside time while BarBQ..... We camped at IB Crow Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Bring your own garbage can for convenient They have golf carts for rental, we didn't rent them. We were not able to light fireworks on the site, it was 4th of July week holiday and we were stuck with plenty of fireworks!

The good thing is their was a Walmart that was about 3 miles away. We didn't use the Indiana beach amusement park either looks a bit dated and unsafe it was directly across the street from our campsite. A Boat rental was near, We rented a boat but it rained out on the day we were going to sail out so we cancelled with no problems, you can get your fishing license at the Walmart if you want to fish also.

Holiday Shore Campground and Resort, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

It was my first camping trip ever, so I can say it was fun and enjoyable. We pulled in to a gated entry, our site was 120, it was graveled well with grass area with an decent picnic table. it was Memorial weekend so the park ground quickly fulled up to capacity it was exciting to see so many campers and families, we set up and was off to see the campgrounds. There was plenty of seasonal and perhaps all year round property owners with cabin like structures, lakes and golf carts going each way you name it.( Reserve your Golf cart while you are making your reservation) I was pleasantly surprise at how much I enjoyed myself, so did my grandkids and my fiancé. They even had a night club with drinks and music for the 21 and over. We really didn't have to go off the campsite everything was right their inside our campground community. Walmart is about 15mins away and so is the downtown Dells area, tourist and restaurants galore! .....We Will Be Back in my Arnold S Voice! We camped at Holiday Shore Campground and Resort in a Travel Trailer.
