White Star Campgrounds, Gibsonburg, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park located across the street from the White Star Park and White Star Quarry. There is swimming, fishing, and SCUBA available at the park and this is a great place to stay if you wish to camp for SCUBA certifications or a weekend of diving. The campground can get rowdy on the weekends, but nothing that is out of control. As of July 2017 there were only 2 pull-through sites with 50 AMP service. There is a water hook-up but it is over 100ft away (about 103 ft to be exact). There is no sewer hook-up but there is a dump station on site. The firewood is very hit or miss in quality and quantity for the $5 honor system. It does seem to be patrolled regularly by a park ranger which is appreciated. Will stay there again. There aren't many trees so summer camping can be rough on 30 Amp service if the pull-throughs are booked. We camped at White Star Campgrounds in a Motorhome.
