Orlando / Kissimmee KOA, Kissimmee, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Park was very clean and organized, very friendly staff. Variety of sites, including very nice tent camping sites with fire pits as well as very nice cabins with fire pits. Did not appear to have many long term RV sites. Nice pool and amenities. Good location with regard to restaurants and Disney Attractions. Price was a little higher than average, however I guess because it is in the vicinity of Disney. We had a back-in site that was a bit tight to neighbors but not bothersome. Overall a very nice campground! We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Wilderness RV Resorts at Silver Springs, Silver Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Park very clean, secure and well kept. Although it has many full time lots it is still a nice place to stay for a short or longer visit. Good location if you want to visit Silver Springs as its only a few minutes away. Also just a few minutes away from good restaurants, gas and groceries. Has a breakfast and candy store on site. Site had easy access pull through and level asphalt. Make sure you pull up far enough if your going to put out your awning or it will stick-out in the street as site are long but fairly narrow. We camped at Wilderness RV Resorts at Silver Springs in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Definitely go visit Silver Springs National Park. If you can, rent a canoe or kayak to really take in its beauty. You can also bring your own and it only cost $2 park entry. If you rent it is between $15, $20 or $30 dollars depending on how much time. Entry to the park is only $2 and an additional $10 if you want to do the glass bottom boats which is also a must see!

Cherry Creek State Park, Aurora, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very spacious and nice park. Lots of room between sites. Stayed in both pull through and back-in and no problems with either. Nice trails and lake on site. Only issue is with reservations. If you want to stay more than 2 days, you will have to reserve way in advance or you will be moving around sites. Seems like with today's technology, they should have a better reservation system. We camped at Cherry Creek State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Located near Aurora which has its conveniences. However, if you want to get to the mountains it a challenge with Denver traffic. Chatfield State park is more convenient if you are going to be going to the mountains more often during your stay.

Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Made reservation over phone and staff was very helpful and courteous. Facilities are excellent. Pool area is outstanding with a separate adult hot tub area. Mostly pull-through sites and very well kept sites at very reasonable rates. Easy access off interstate 40. In our opinion, the best of the three RV resorts in the area. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
