Chehalis RV & Camping Resort, Thousand Trails , Chehalis, Washington
Date of Stay:
July, 2018
Overall Rating:
We stayed in a 28' travel trailer. Sites are beautiful but somewhat unlevel. We arrived on a Tuesday but all sewer sites were taken. We managed to move to a sewer site after a week. Staff was nice but very small. Electric service is old with many of the pedestals flagged as unusable. Our neighbor and us could not run AC at the same time because both the 30 and 50 amp plug-ins would overheat if we did. Our separate electric boxes would only show 104 volts with both ACs running. The park maintenance man told us the electric system was old and not wired adequately years ago. The "honey wagon" for $25 has been discontinued and now, non-sewer campers are instructed to call a private septic service that charges $48 plus tax to empty your tanks. This is however, a beautiful campground and as long as you realize it's limitations and the fact that TT seems to be cutting back on the spending here, you may enjoy your stay. We have decided not to stay here in the future. We camped at Chehalis RV & Camping Resort, Thousand Trails in a Travel Trailer.
Arrive here as early in the day as possible because sewer sites fill up within minutes of someone pulling out. Also, try not to be at the far end of an electrical circuit.
