Good bathrooms. Tight sites. Very difficult to back into if trailer or tow. Campers across from us took 45 minutes to back in their poptop camper with a car. Sites are very close. Shaded and level. We camped at Montgomery Bell State Park in a Motorhome.

Pretty setting, second time to use this campground. Lake is lovely. Fun watching people play Frisbee disc golf, especially when they landed their frisbee in the water and had to retrieve it. We camped at Lake Tobesofkee Claystone Park in a Motorhome.

Timberlake Campground, Brandon, Mississippi

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Nice setting on the lake. Friendly trusting staff. Drive around and decide on site you want. One bathhouse was dated and needed some work but others looked good. Some sites have cracked asphalt to park on. Asphalt can be narrow, muddy along sites if recent rain. Shaded sites. Good value. Great sunset photo op on lake. We camped at Timberlake Campground in a Motorhome.

Very friendly staff that want to please. Busy on weekends of course but weekdays are great. We camped at Piney Grove COE in a Motorhome.

Up on the mountain in Monte Sano Park it's 10 degrees cooler than in Huntsville which is nice in May. Sites are wooded and large. Decent showers. Pavilion good for get togethers or Rallies. Planetarium is a short walk away. We camped at Monte Sano State Park in a Motorhome.

Pleasant River Campground, West Bethel, Maine

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly, welcoming owners. Plenty of shade. Clean bathrooms and showers. Bathroom and showers are small but functional. Cleanliness more important to me than size. Level sites. Sandy soil than drained quickly in rain. No laundry but owners planning to add another bathhouse with laundry. We camped at Pleasant River Campground in a Motorhome.

Breezy Hill Campground (formerly Fond du Lac / Eden KOA), Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was IMMACULATE. You can certainly tell the owners take pride in their campground and service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our site was quiet and in the shade. We needed to do laundry so the owners put us up near the laundry and bathrooms. The bathrooms are immaculate even tho older. There was not one single cobweb to be found in the bathroom or shower area. The laundry room was very clean--$2 for wash and $1.25 to dry. This campground would be wonderful for families with children. There was plenty for them to do. Swimming pool, swim pond with large floats, jumping pillows, etc. The newer area doesn't offer much shade as the trees haven't matured in that area yet. Our site had plenty of mature shade trees. We thoroughly enjoyed our ice cream at the creamery the owners recommended just down the street. I would definitely stay here again and we don't have children. We camped at Breezy Hill Campground (formerly Fond du Lac / Eden KOA) in a Motorhome.

Very old bathrooms and showers, fairly clean, lots of cobwebs. Dirt roads making the campground very dusty. Some ruts in roads. Lots of children on bicycles having good times, not disruptive. Barren River State Resort Park, Lucas, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Lots of room at the sites. Some sites would be difficult to level a large rig or to pull into as some have steep slopes in or out of site. Recommend driving around the park first to see where your rig will work then go back to gate to pay and mark your site. Plenty of shade trees. Decent bathrooms. Shower water pressure good. Tidy state park, well maintained. Great value. We camped at Barren River State Resort Park in a Motorhome.

Airstream Factory Terraport, Jackson Center, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

You do not have to own an Airstream to stay here. Their Terraport has full hook-ups for $10. You can't beat the price. Limited shade. Yes most of the people staying here are there for service but that is not required. Super nice hosts/guides. Highly recommend the fun tour. Those with trailers and trucks had to take trailer off truck and park truck next to trailer. We camped at Airstream Factory Terraport in a Motorhome.

Elkhorn Campground, Frankfort, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Our level campsite backed up to the creek. There was plenty of shade which was appreciated in the summer. Check-in staff were friendly. Bathrooms were old but clean. Showers had lots of hooks available which is very appreciated. Pool, horseshoes, shuffleboard and mini golf available but we did not use it. There are some longtermers but their area is not trashed or cluttered like so many other parks. We have a 24 ft Motorhome and no tow. Plenty of room. We camped at Elkhorn Campground in a Motorhome.
