Burdette Park, Evansville, Indiana

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Being the fall and kids back in school the place is quiet and pools empty. I was skeptical based on some reviews and how cheap for full hookup. Everything worked well and the woman I called met me at the entrance, took me to the site and guided me in then had to leave saying she would be back later to get payment. I went the next afternoon to pay she didn't make it back and nobody said anything so I just went to the office and pay. While there I ask about checkout times and they said "oh, we really don't have one, just whenever is fine". This is the most laid back place I have seen. There are a lot of what seems to be full time trailers that are pretty worn out with no one in sight. During the summer it has a huge pool area with slides and lots of other things (basketball, tennis, volleyball courts). At the entrance they had BMX races and looked to be packed Friday evening. All in all a pretty great place and 10 min from evansville. I will concur with others that roads are pretty narrow and have to be cautious when exiting. We camped at Burdette Park in a Travel Trailer.

Riveredge RV Park & Log Cabin Rentals, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

This is the second time we camped here. First time was late fall two years ago with a small 14' enclosed trailer. The place was almost empty and great. This time the place was packed like sardines. We were in row E and, when the place is full, you can barely inch your way through the cars. The park itself is really awesome but we won't be back unless there aren't many campers. We camped at Riveredge RV Park & Log Cabin Rentals in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Make sure to eat at Paula Deens. Titanic and Alcatraz were fantastic but not for kids - lots and lots of reading.
