Mousetail Landing State Park, Linden, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest parks we've been to. Very clean and well kept. The rangers and care takers are dedicated to their service. We stayed two nights on our way to the Grand Canyon and would go again if it weren't so far from anywhere. That and no wi-fi is the reason for the 9 rating. We camped at Mousetail Landing State Park in a Motorhome.

Old Stone Fort State Park, Manchester, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Things haven't changed since 2018 review. The park was great with nice walking trails etc. but the campground sites lacked clean up on the parking pads, bbq and fire rings. Couldn't get tv reception but able to connect to our hot spot to catch up with what's going on which was fine with us. The height on the bridge crossing was fine but we managed to hit a side mirror so watch the width. We stayed 3 nights, Sunday-Wednesday. It seems like all the sights are booked on weekends though. We camped at Old Stone Fort State Park in a Motorhome.

Natchez Trace State Park - Cub Lake, Lexington, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We were passing through on a one night stay so considering the distance from I-40 I would not go again. Also the directions on RV review are incorrect. It should read Wildersville zip 38344 not Lexington. According to the ranger use exit 116 and travel N on 114. Nice park, friendly & helpful rangers. Good site w full hookup. Only dumpster is when you leave Pin Oak. We camped at Natchez Trace State Park - Cub Lake in a Motorhome.

Utah Lake State Park, Provo, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We were a walk up and there were plenty of spaces. They also have an honor system when gate not manned so have cash on hand. Clean & well maintained except for the entrance which seems forgotten. Nice walk to marina and access to beautiful Lake Utah. We camped at Utah Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Easy highway access, well maintained. Neat walking bridge across the river with great sunset views. Stayed one night and found it quiet considering it's in town local. We camped at Downtown Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Checotah / Lake Eufaula West KOA, Checotah, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with easy access to I-40. All 50amp sites were taken by an RV club so we ended up with a 30amp site that was spacious and got afternoon shade. Only stayed for one night. Well maintained and staff helpful & friendly. Laundry room useful. We camped at Checotah / Lake Eufaula West KOA in a Motorhome.

Happy Trails RV Park LLC, Moriarty, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly owners. Well maintained grounds, but sites are really cramped. If he hadn't skipped a space our door would have opened within 6" of next camper. Laundry is all new but lacking ventilation w A/C or open windows. We camped at Happy Trails RV Park LLC in a Motorhome.

Walnut RV Park, Vega, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

For us it was a nice campground for one night since we were making our way home. Easy I-40 access. Well maintained. Payment made on the honor system so have cash in hand. Everyone's right about Roosters across the street. Food & servers were great. Would stay again. We camped at Walnut RV Park in a Motorhome.

Foss State Park, Foss, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Never been thru Oklahoma before, but this campground is just what we needed. We arrived about 3pm at Cedar Pointe section, and only planned one night cause we were making the push for home. We stayed two. Not many occupants, quiet and beautiful views. Roads were paved, facilities clean. Marina is also available with a restaurant. Drove in, picked our site and the park ranger came by later for payment. When you turn in at the park sign, stay to the right following Cedar Pointe signs and you'll be by the lake. Cottonwood was nice with trees but no lake views. We camped at Foss State Park in a Motorhome.

Green River State Park, Green River, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this park. There was a train nearby but you didn't hear it at night. Shaded in the afternoon our pull through fit our 34' and tow easily. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. All the parks we wanted to visit were within an hrs drive and they were awesome. Good local restaurants too. We arrived during the week as a walk in and had multiple choices of sites. Stayed Wednesday thru Saturday. We camped at Green River State Park in a Motorhome.

Columbus-Belmont State Park, Columbus, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Great park. Very peaceful and very well manicured. 30 minutes to shopping. The phone service with Verizon is bad, one bar at best. WiFi, which costs extra, is mediocre hence the 9 rating. If you totally want to unplug this is it. Our host was friendly and always ready to help. We had a problem with our jacks and she let us move to a more level site. WiFi would not let me add pics. We camped at Columbus-Belmont State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a day park with sandwich shop within walking distance. I would not recommend the fries. The park was beautiful with a lot of history and overlooking the Mississippi.
