Woodside Lake Park, Streetsboro, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Roads are gravel, hilly, and narrow, but in decent shape. The first site we were given was site # 6, a 50 amp pull thru in upper meadow. It would have been nice but it was covered in gravel consisting of 3-4 inch rocks. After two unsuccessful attempts at leveling we requested a different site. We were given site #17, also a pull thru, in Deer Run which seemed to be a seasonal or semi permanent area way in the back woods. We were able to level with no problem. WiFi is an extra charge which we chose not to pay for. The owner was very accommodating and helpful. There is a nice little lake for swimming, paddle boats, and fishing. It is a pretty campground with rolling grassy hills. The road from the interstate is like a roller coaster ride. We camped at Woodside Lake Park in a Motorhome.

River Edge Resort, Alberton, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We couldn't find a site anywhere in Missoula but we found this little gem of a campground. It is very shady and located right beside the Clark Fork river. The sites are gravel with large green areas between. They offer 30 amp only. The restaurant was great. There is also a nice bar and a gaming room. The downside is the train tracks across the river with frequent trains (though they don't blow their horns) and the close proximity to Hwy 90. The roads are tight but we managed to maneuver our 41 ft motorhome to our site without unhooking our tow vehicle. I highly recommend it for an overnight or longer stay. We camped at River Edge Resort in a Motorhome.

Salt Lake City KOA, Salt Lake City, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Park is located in an industrial area but is very convenient to downtown Salt Lake City. It is a short drive or you can choose to use the mass transit which is across the street. The park has quite a few permanent or seasonal residents but most of their sites are well kept. The sites are roomy with grass in between. The pads are concrete and level though our 41 ft mh and toad just fit. There are shade trees on every site which was nice as it was in the 90's while we were there. The hookups were good and we ran 3 AC with no issues. The park was clean although our site had many cigarette butts in it but I blame the people that had the site before us NOT the RV Park. The pool was refreshing. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Salt Lake City KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visiting Temple Square should be on your list. Try to tour the LDS conference center (its free) especially the rooftop garden and auditorium. Also tour the Mormon tabernacle and assembly also free.
