1. Caution for animals or vets with Gun related PTSD issues. There is an active gun range next to the RV Park that some clearly reacted to. 2. The park was very clean and the staff very friendly. 3. The sites were gravel and our front wheels were 5 inches off the ground after leveling. This is a very busy park during the holidays and reservations are strongly recommended. PROS: Quiet at night, friendly staff, clean area, shade trees in some sites, dog areas clean. The next closest park was $10.00 more a night! CONS: Gun range - guns were firing on 3 days of the 3 day weekend and very close. Some sites very small and some very uneven only a few full hookups as most were without sewer. Some sites have trees that will hinder how you set up. We had to move our rig twice as one tree rubbed against our closed awning and another prevented full slideout extension. Will we be back. Maybe. This is the closest to our family but wish the range wasn't there as our dog couldn't stay due to the gun noise throughout the day. Our dog was a wreck when we returned and shivered with every round that fired. We had to find an alternative place for our pet. We camped at Timberline Campground in a Motorhome.
