Maplewood State Park, Pelican Rapids, Minnesota

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in the Main Loop on Grass Lake site 4. There were a variety of back in and pull through sites. We happened to get the only site that was not gravel and actually just dirt from what we could tell while walking around. It was wet and dark when we pulled in and our trailer ended up sliding and damaging our stablizers. Our back in site was not at a great angle for pulling in a trailer on the road either. Others were better. The bathrooms were given a once over every day, but not thoroughly cleaned. The sites have lots of room, but not a lot of privacy between them even though you are in a wooden area. The water is only a short walk away with fishing docks. You can rent paddle boards and canoes. A swimming beach is a 15 minute drive away. The park is gorgeous. Full of lakes, trees and hills. Pelican rapids is 7 miles away and a cute little town with numerous businesses. We camped at Maplewood State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Medora Campground, Medora, North Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Showers were private. Bathrooms were mostly clean. Spaces were tight, not much room to yourself. Price is high, but free WiFi which worked better in our first site than second. Beautiful views. Access to pools. We camped at Medora Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Buffalo Bill State Park, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at north shore which only had vault toilets and no other amenities. The toilets were kept clean. The area with the small park and showers was 5 miles away on the highway. You had to pay $1 for 3 minutes of water in the showers which I thought should have been included. Awesome views. Easy to pull in and out. Lots of space. Firepit and picnic table. We camped at Buffalo Bill State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Buffalo River State Park, Glyndon, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Only have electric, no water or sewers. The spaces have privacy and are wooded. So much to do in the park, hiking, biking, swimming in the awesome sand bottom pool. The bathrooms are old, but set to be torn down and replaced this winter. We camped at Buffalo River State Park in a Travel Trailer.
