Tallahassee East Campground , Monticello, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

A bit of a backtrack off 10 to get to the park.
Good place for an overnighter but that would be about all.
Sites are dirt and grass so I imagine it would be a mess during a rainstorm.
Lots of full timers with a lot of dilapidated old trailers.
Lots of loose cats which drove my dogs crazy!! Also, as you can imagine the whole campground was their litter box.

They did serve a free continental breakfast which was a nice touch.
Good value compared to some of the other parks in the area. We camped at Tallahassee East Campground in a Motorhome.

The Woods RV Park and Campground LLC, Montgomery, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Good park for an overnight stay. Full hookups and all sites are pull-throughs. Right off 65 which was nice.
Lots of full timers and a lot of derelict looking old trailers and motorhomes.
My main complaint would be the owners dg apparently being outside all night and barking constantly. This does not lend itself to a good nights sleep. We camped at The Woods RV Park and Campground LLC in a Motorhome.

Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga, Rossville, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Park is clean with a nice dog park, playground, and pool area. There is also a small store in the office.
Sites are long enough but not a great deal of space between you and your neighbors. It appears half of the campground is for long term occupants.
Location is close to shopping and not to far from Ruby Falls and Rock City. It meet our needs for a one night stay. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Two Rivers Campground, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

Gravel sites with lots of huge puddles on the roads and sites after a rain. Basically a mixture of weeds and overgrown grass between sites.
They did have a small dog park but unfortunately it also was overgrown.
Sites were fairly well separated.
They do have live music several nights a week if you like that.
Very friendly and helpful in the office.
Well stocked store and gift shop.
Very close to the Grand Ole Opry and shops and restaurants. We camped at Two Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

Jude Travel Park, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

I’m torn about my review of this place. On the one hand it is in a terrible neighborhood that I wouldn’t feel safe walking about. The park does have a gate that is shut at night so you do feel secure within it. The park is very small and my awning when out touched my neighbors rig. It does have a pool and hot tub and laundry. About 5 miles to the French quarter.
Marla the owner was very helpful with things to do and even the best place to park when visiting the French quarter.
All the RV parks seem to be on this same street and looking at them Jude certainly looks the best.
One note: there are approximately 10 to 15 cats roaming the park that the owner feeds. If you have dogs that are reactive to cats it can make for a very trying stay. We camped at Jude Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Brantley Lake State Park, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

We were leery driving into the campground but pleasantly surprised with the sites. Each had a shade structure and picnic table. Plenty of room for our 37 ft motorhome and car.
Bathrooms cleanliness was disappointing. No amenities other than a small playground. The lake was very low and you would need to drive to access. Overall a fine place for a night or two. A great value at $14 a night. We camped at Brantley Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park), Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing fancy here. Some full timers but everything is clean and well kept. Small dog park which is nice since the campground is off a fairly busy street. Heard a train in the evening but nothing during the night. Nice size pull through sites. Would stay again. We camped at Sunny Acres RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Mission View RV Park (55+ park), Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Older mobile home/ RV Park. A bit long in the tooth and not much in the way of amenities other than a pool. Place is clean and safe and fine for an overnight or short stay in the Tucson area. Office personnel were very pleasant and helpful.

Cash or check only! We camped at Mission View RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Fortuna De Oro RV Park (55+), Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Overnight stay while traveling. Park had lots of amenities... golf course, Pickle ball and tennis courts. Nice pool area and a bar and grill onsite.

My one complaint would be the pull through sites were setup like a parking lot. No picnic tables or greenery at your site. Fine for an overnight stay but at over $50 a night I would expect a bit more. We camped at Fortuna De Oro RV Park (55+) in a Motorhome.

Riverbend Campground , Olympia, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

I would like to start by saying that the grounds are nice and if you are a fisher person this would probably be a great place for you. You might ask why then would I give them only one star in my review. Here you go.... 1) Speed limit in the park is a joke, it is supposed to be 10 MPH but people are going double and triple that. Small children and pets are not safe here! 2) The park is geared towards permanent residents not short term guests. There are only 4 short term sites with full hookups and they all are directly across from a very loud children's playground and right next to the main road (that everyone speeds down). I do mean right next to it, the end our our rig was within 2 feet of the road. 3) There are trains running right by the campground constantly day and night. 4) If you want to sleep don't plan on it here. In addition to the trains, and fishermen speeding past your rig starting about 5am. There are roosters that start in well before dawn. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but forfeited our 2nd night (because they have an absolute no return policy no matter how bad your stay is)!! This place needs security patrols to ensure safe speeds are maintained and to care a bit more about their campers than the random fishermen they allow in for day use. We camped at Riverbend Campground in a Motorhome.
