Otter Lake Camp Resort, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the best campgrounds we have been to. We did the gas saver for 2 weekends and will most likely do 3 weekend next year. We paid for the weekend stay then 10 bucks for the week storage. This place is big enough for larger campers to get around no problem. The roads are all paved and wide. The sites are all 3/8 clean stone and large enough to spread out. We like to stay on the back side of the lake as it is quieter back there and not so much traffic. They have a outdoor pool and splash park for the kids as well as a indoor pool for when its colder outside. They also have a sand bottom area in the lake for swimming with large sand beach area to relaxe. Fishing is catch and release and the is plenty of 15in large mouth bass to catch easily. We will return here year after year as it is a close trip for us. Only problem is getting reservations as you have to book well in advance to get in. They book fast as the start taking reservations in November for the following year. We camped at Otter Lake Camp Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Seashore Campsites & RV Resort, Cape May, New Jersey

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This is always our 1st trip of the year. We love this place as it is 10 min from Cape May and 10 min from Wildwood. Perfectly located. This is one of the few campgrounds in the area where u can stay at and not worry about filling you trailer with sand. The sites are paved and lined with decorative stone. Most have nice big concrete fire pits or nice metal fire pits not just truck rims. Lots of things to do at the campground. We have not been here when the pool or lake are open but they look awsome. The mini golf is free and top notch. Only downfall was internet was not up and running but doesn't seem like a normal problem as there are antennas throughout the campground. We will be returning here year after year and hope to get here one time when the pool and lake are open. We camped at Seashore Campsites & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Delaware Water Gap / Pocono Mountain KOA, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

We were here for there Halloween weekend which had lots of activity's and hayrides. They even gave away a free weekend for best decorated site. The pull through sites on the top of the hill are nice. The fire pits are all custom and the sites with patios are laid out nice. The do come at a high price. I wouldn't want to be in one of them in the summer as there is no shade. This is a good place for the kids as there was plenty for them to do. The jump pad and playground was good. All the kids slept good as they ran all day. Will defiantly be back at this campground next season. There is plenty to do in the area. We have to get used to KOA's prices as they keep going up. As long as service stays as good it is worth the stay here. We camped at Delaware Water Gap / Pocono Mountain KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Butterfly Camping Resort, Jackson, New Jersey

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $63.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice campground with wooded sites and nice large roads. Our site was large and private but sand. I know its south jersey but I can do without the sand it gets everywhere. The office staff was nice. The pool looks nice. Mini golf was fun and the lakes are nice. There is some good hiking trails in the back that were wide and well marked. We camped at Butterfly Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Mountain Vista Campground, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was easy to get to as it was right off RT209 in the Marshalls Creek area. The campground is on the side of a mountain and wooded. The roads at stone and a little hilly but easy to get around with a large RV. There is plenty to do with the kids as they have 2 playgrounds and lots of activities. The bingo night was fun even though we didn't win. The sites are just the right size and close together but separated by trees and brush. Great spot to relax by the fire for the weekend. This was our third year doing a weekend trip and will be back again in the future. We camped at Mountain Vista Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Americamps RV Resort, Ashland, Virginia

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Perfect for overnight stay while traveling 95. Much better than the 3 letter campgrounds in the area which where $30 more for a overnight stay. The sites were all clean stone and perfectly level. Just pulled in plugged in and put stabilizers down. The plant and flowers around the campground were beautiful and the place is well taken care of. Wish we go there to use the pool which was nice and brand new but it closed at 8pm. Also wish we stayed for the free 8am waffle breakfast but we rolled out at 6am. Will definitely be staying here again when traveling through Richmond. May even use for NASCAR race as they have bus shuttles to and from track on race weekend. We camped at Americamps RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $100.00
Overall Rating:

What else is there to say it is Disney. You are not going to be able to stay on a Disney resort for a better price. The pools are amazing and the food is better. Do yourself a favor and rent a golf cart the best thing to do in spare time is loop all the sites to check out the campground. Easy to drive cart to diner, bus or boat to any Disney park. I have stayed in 1100 loop and 1200 loop which are premium sites and loved them both. Make sure you check out all the campground has to offer. We always save 2 days just for time at the campground and no parks. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Savannah Oaks RV Resort, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This park was perfect for a overnight stay while traveling 95. It was about 2 miles off the highway and had fuel and a cracker barrel at this exit so it worked out perfect. I really liked the trees at this campground as it was very natural for the area. The pool was very nice and was open late. Pull through sites were perfect as I didn't have to unhook or level just put down stabilizers for the night. Only downfall was sites ere a bit sandy but that is the area. Will definitely use this campground again for an overnight stay. We camped at Savannah Oaks RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
