Walnut Hills Campground (formerly Staunton / Walnut Hills KOA), Staunton, Virginia

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This is formally a KOA, now some private owner. The facility is great, rolling hills, etc. I will say that the pull thru sites on 'the hill' take some serious guts to maneuver in a 45' coach. Take it wide and slow and you'll make it, but I'd advise the owners to consider making those roads much wider. Big Rigs: maybe just ask to stay on the flat part near the entrance? Up on 'the hill' is just a bit too difficult with a 45'/13' I'd say. We camped at Walnut Hills Campground (formerly Staunton / Walnut Hills KOA) in a Motorhome.

Nashville KOA, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $95.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this campground. But oh so expensive. They have games for the kids, a nice pool, great looking big rigs all around. Uber to and from the city without issues. We also found a local company that can detail your coach in place (you can't do it but they can). We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.
