Silver City RV Resort, Minden, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

OK park close to the Lake Tahoe area. Check in was good and we were led to our site - the parking is a bit strange since there are 2 concrete strips you have to line up the rig to - not always an easy task with a 43' class A but we made it work. Sites are coarse gravel but we just put our large mat down and it was fine. dog parks also have the same gravel and our pup was not too thrilled with that part. Had propane so we filled up our tank - that was very handy as we were running a bit low. Had no issues with electric at all and it was hot and we ran 3 AC. We camped at Silver City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Diamond Lake RV Park, Diamond Lake, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The park was very nice and quiet - no cell, internet or satellite TV but as long as you are OK with that it was great. The great news is that you could walk about 1/2 mile down the road into a small day use picnic area and get excellent ATT connections. There were no mosquitoes so we sat outside every night and enjoyed the solitude - beautiful night skies as well. Very close to Crater Lake NP but unfortunately for us it was terribly smoky there the 2 days we were there - we will be back! We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Premier RV Resort of Lincoln City Oregon, Lincoln City, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Great park directly across road from the ocean. Staff was great the entire time we were there from check in to breakfast on Sunday morning before we left. They had a Happy Hour on Saturday evening with complimentary snacks and live music - Saturday morning there was a pancake breakfast - all you can eat pancakes, sausage, fruit and coffee tea and hot chocolate - all for $5! Sunday morning featured free doughnuts -they were awesome - owner was there and chatted with us for few minutes. Wifi was great as well - Highly recommend this park! We camped at Premier RV Resort of Lincoln City Oregon in a Motorhome.

Sandy Riverfront RV Resort, Troutdale, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park - lots of long term but most in good shape. Short walk to dog friendly river - easy in and out with our 43 ft motor home. As other reviewers have noted watch which way you come in - we came in over the very narrow 1 lane bridge... We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Gilgal Oasis RV Park, Sequim, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Awesome park - small but super nice - we were in space 18 in a 43' motor home and it was the best! Felt like home away from home. Staff was very helpful and friendly - we were there for 6 nights. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at Gilgal Oasis RV Park in a Motorhome.

Puyallup Fair Grounds, Puyallup, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

It's a fair ground - for what it is - it was great. Perfect location to explore Mt. Rainier and Seattle. Trains run into Seattle so you can avoid the traffic and parking hassle. Train station very close - you can hear the trains outside but not in the RV. Lots of area to walk your dog. Blackberries are abundant and easily picked - delicious! We camped at Puyallup Fair Grounds in a Motorhome.

Moab Rim RV Campark & Cabins, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

great RV park - easily accessible from hwy. recently updated - the best part of this park were the host and hostess - had slide issues on the day we were leaving and he went above and beyond to assist and get us on the road - words can't express how much his help was appreciated. We camped at Moab Rim RV Campark & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Moose Creek RV Park and B&B (formerly San-Suz-Ed RV Park), West Glacier, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Small park that felt like you were camping in your back yard with FHU. Quiet and close to West Glacier. Had homemade chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon rolls that were both delicious. Camp ground owner was very nice - we checked in on a Sunday afternoon during their "off" hours and had a little difficulty locating the site but ultimately had no issues parking. We camped at Moose Creek RV Park and B&B (formerly San-Suz-Ed RV Park) in a Motorhome.

St. Mary / East Glacier KOA, St Mary, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

Nice enough park but $80 night is silly - there is NO Wifi or ATT service at all - they should not be advertising Wifi that doesn't exist. Great location for the East side of Glacier which in my opinion is the BEST side - hubby enjoyed the pancake breakfast as well. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Motorhome.

Platte River RV & Campground, Glenrock, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Since we stayed on the Passport America price I felt it was OK for the value. Staff was awesome - very helpful. Led us to the site - easy to get in with our 43' motor home. River was a short walk away - dog loved it! The only real issue we had were the awful mosquitoes - couldn't walk out the door without getting eaten alive - not the parks fault but none the less impacted our enjoyment of the camp ground and river. We camped at Platte River RV & Campground in a Motorhome.
