The best and the only place we would stay in Hawthorne. It is attractive, always clean and everything works. Safeway store, gas and pizza nearby. Nice manager. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Easy pull through just off highway 16, but quiet at night. Shady big pines throughout, and close to Rapid City and all the sites. Excellent and very clean small laundry and showers. We camped at American Buffalo Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Buffalo Crossing RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This park is in touristy and crowded downtown West Yellowstone, but it was clean and quiet. The park entrance is very close. The IMAX theater is right in front of the park. Nice discount package to local places, including the theater. The staff was great about helping us change dates when we needed it. We camped at Buffalo Crossing RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Elwha Dam RV Park, Port Angeles, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Woodsy, quiet park away from town a few miles. It is run by a delightful couple who obviously love their property, including the garden, which they encourage you to take fresh veggies from. Lots of shade in our pull-through section (some areas do not have shade), and great wifi. We rate it the best in the Port Angeles area. We camped at Elwha Dam RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The Mill Casino RV Park, North Bend, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

For central Oregon coast visits, The Mill RV Park is our all-time favorite, with wide, paved sites, free transportation not only to the casino, but anywhere in Coos Bay/North Bend. Utilities are ideally located and always work. Just wish they had faster wi-fi with more band-width. We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
