Caledonia State Park, Hosack Run Campground, Fayetteville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Campsite had 30A electric. No water hookups, but potable water was available at various locations throughout the campground. Campsites in general were shady, but small and close together. Our campsite sloped enough to require 3 inches of blocks on one side of the trailer to get it to level. Bathhouses were in need of a good cleaning. Shower curtains were mildewed. Park office closed at 4pm, which was a bit of a surprise given a 3pm check-in time, but a camp host was present to help. Lots of mosquitoes. We used this campground as a base camp for visiting Gettysburg, which is about 30 minutes away. The nightly rate was for non-residents on a weekend night. We camped at Caledonia State Park, Hosack Run Campground in a Travel Trailer.
