Padre Balli Park, Corpus Christi, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Being from So. TX and having stayed around the area, this is about as good as it gets. The new section is well spaced out and clean. Restrooms are so so and there is NO wifi. BUT you can access the beach easily and have fun and sun! We camped at Padre Balli Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Bring plenty of mosquito repellent! North is Mustang island and Port A and there are beach entrances along the way. South is Padre Island National Park entrance and it isn't very far. You can drive down the beach several miles in 2 wheel drive but after that you'll need 4 wheel drive and there can be a lot of sea weed and debri. Explore and have fun!

Angel Fire RV Resort, Angel Fire, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

One of the best RV Resorts I've stayed in. The area is beautiful and it's a newer park. It's laid out very well with lots of space between RVs and angled sites so you don't look directly into your neighbors RV. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and the facilities are outstanding. It has one of the best dog parks I've seen and is pet friendly. The staff is excellent and they have events planned during the week. I'm reluctant to share how good this place is because it will fill up but it's just to nice not to! You are on the scenic route and it takes you through Eagles Nest, Red River, Questa & Taos. There aren't many good restaurants in the valley, but it's not far to Taos or Red River and a beautiful drive. The aspen are turning yellow in late September and it is beautiful! We camped at Angel Fire RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Vietnam memorial is just down the road and worth visiting. The Kit Carson Museum in Taos is very interesting.
