Whispering Oaks Campground, Manchester, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

My family and I have been here for a year while we've been waiting on my husband's transfer. I hate to leave because we've had such a good experience here. The owners have only been here for a couple of years, but they've been making improvements. There is a playground, clean pool, large field for playing in, and the owners live on the property and are always available. We keep to ourselves and don't require a lot, and we've never had a problem here. For instance, on Christmas Eve, the owner brought all the last minute packages we got (and there were MANY), during a storm, and he had the best attitude. They always offer to help, and I've never seen a bad attitude in the staff. The place is still improving, and I know it's just going to get nicer each year. It isn't fancy and big, but for a place to stay or live for a while (if you aren't needing anything more than a place to stay) it's great and has all the necessities. There are bathrooms, showers, and a dumpster that's easy to get to. if we come back here to TN again, we'll stay here. There is a mix of full time and overnighters. We camped at Whispering Oaks Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

It's not far from Murfreesboro ( good size town with a mall and lots of shops) 30min. from Franklin, and about 40 min. to Nashville. It's just 2 miles off the interstate, and there's a Dollar Store less than a mile away for last minute things.
