Casini Ranch Family Campground, Duncans Mills, California

Date of Stay: October, 2019 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

The area is beautiful, the campground is large and lots of kids activities. Staff was very friendly. The campground is nothing but dirt. At one time there probably was rocks but not anymore. All the roads and RV sites are dirt. Sites are close together. Rained Saturday morning and the entire place was nothing but mud. We have a great time but prob will skip it if we were ever in the area again. Needs maintenance bad. We camped at Casini Ranch Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly RV Park, Weed, California

Date of Stay: October, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This was a perfect over night stop. Right off 5 and next to a Starbucks and Pilot Gas Station. What else do you need for an overnight !! Park was clean, we had a pull through and it was a “stack” type pull through. Thankful we got the front spot or my 43ft would not have fit. Arrived after hours and had directions to my site on office door. Easy to find site. I would definitely stop here again if passing through for an overnight. We camped at Friendly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA, Petaluma, California

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $101.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest KOA we have stayed. We had a premium site and was $$$$ I’m a KOA member so got a slight discount. LOTS of kids and LOTS of kids activities. Very busy park but my kids had a blast. Regular sites are just gravel and dirt, little grass. There are so many nice trees grass can grow. Very shaded. We had a concrete patio, nice fire pit area and furniture. Nice pool, store, petting zoo, bouncy park, movies outside at night. If you looking for a quiet park, might not be a fit, but if your looking for a nice family with kids park. It’s awesome. We have a 43ft 5th wheel. It was tight getting in. We camped at San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Flagstaff KOA, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $85.00
Overall Rating:

Typical KOA, all sites are close together and there are a lot of sites. Lots of trees, nice views, LOTS of kids which is why I stay at a KOA. My kids loved it here. Grounds are rustic but that’s the charm of Flagstaff. Easy access to Canyon and downtown Flagstaff is great. I would stay here again. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Albuquerque Central KOA, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

This is a typical KOA. Very clean, but sites very close together. It was like a parking lot. Our picnic table was right next to the neighbors sewer connection. Pool was nice, only reason I stay at a KOA is for my kids because usually there are lots of kids. It so much at this KOA. We were scheduled to stay 2 night last but only stayed one. Passing through for one night I would stay again, but other than that, I will not return to this KOA. We camped at Albuquerque Central KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Oasis RV Resort, Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed one night as we were just passing through. I wouldn’t want to stay any longer. It’s a nice, clean, friendly place. But it’s a parking lot for RVs. Very windy. But quiet and right off the interstate. Nice pool area. Full hook ups, cable and WiFi. Some full timers. If passing through it’s a great place. We camped at Oasis RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park, Terrell, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Park is right off the interstate, convenient when passing through. But very noisy from the interstate. Friendly staff, nice pool, cable. We are here one night as this is just an overnight stop for us. I wouldn’t want to stay any longer. Not much around. Pricy for what you get. Lots of full timers. But clean, friendly and convenient. We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Reunion Lake RV Resort, Ponchatoula, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

Start with the pros. Very clean, well kept, friendly staff, escort you to your site, awesome pool and lake area. Adult pool with bar and kids pool. Now the cons. Absolutely no shade, no shrubs, no landscape. Just wide open concrete field. A lot of partying going on til late on the weekends. Sunday night was quiet. LOTS of golf carts cruising around playing music. If you like a party, this is a place for you. If you like a more quiet place to camp. Stay clear. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Topsail Hill State Preserve, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Topsail State Park is one of our favorite campgrounds. Full hookups, cable, pool. Spacious shady sites, beautiful beach. Tram to beach if you don’t want to ride your bike or walk. You must book 11 months in advance or you won’t get in. Definitely worth a stay. We camped at Topsail Hill State Preserve in a Travel Trailer.

Manatee Springs State Park, Chiefland, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This was one of the worst campgrounds we have stayed in. Roads are sand with lots of pot holes, sites are all sand. There is no gravel or concrete. Sewer connection was so high that I wasn’t able to use. Ticks. Many many ticks. Check yourself often. As the campground was bad the springs were awesome. We rented kayaks and swam in springs. The deer in the campground come right up to you. We will never return to this campground. We camped at Manatee Springs State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Anchor Down RV Resort, Dandridge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

This park is one of the nicest RV resorts we have stayed at. Extremely clean and maintained. Nice staff, great amenities, pool with slide, lake activities, game room, food truck, golf cart rentals. Some of the less expensive sites are tight !! We were in site 8 and very pleased. Amazing Mountain View’s, large dog park. Had a great time. Only negative is no shade/trees. Our AC during the day struggles to keep up. This is now on our yearly visit list. We camped at Anchor Down RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Stone Mountain Park, Stone Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Over all Park is good. Lots for kids to do. Large playground, swimming pool, lots of kids to play with. For the price, the campground needs work. Premium sites were all gravel and needs regraveling. Deck (waste of space) gas grill, table and fire pit. Site are close together. Some full timers that looked like a hoarding situation. This park could easily be a 5 Star with a little TLC. Friendly staff. We camped at Stone Mountain Park in a Travel Trailer.

Shady Grove Park, Cumming, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This was a great county campground. Right on Lake Lanier. Nice swim area and nice playground. Very spacious sites. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 - our site was not level, and site needed some repairs. I did see them updating the sites through the park. We camped at Shady Grove Park in a Travel Trailer.
