Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga, Rossville, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed in October...quiet park, half of park is full time RVs and half daily rentals. Mix of lots of different RV types, but plenty of room for big RVs in the pull through sites. Rained a full day while we were staying here, the grounds did pool some water around the sites. The pull through sites are gravel and the campsites are about 10 feet in between sites. The site comes with a fire ring and picnic table. No trees at our site but a few throughout the park. Bathrooms and showers very clean and great pressure and hot water in shower!! Not much for kids to do...small park area, pool is seasonal. We camped at Holiday Travel Park of Chattanooga in a Motorhome.

Eat or get takeout from Portofino’s Greek/Italian restaurant less than 1 mile away!! It’s delicious and reasonably priced and service is great!!

Go to Rock City and Ruby Falls and Incline Railway (package ticket pricing available) - at the bottom on Incline Railway grab a bite to eat at Mr T’s pizza, only $8.99 for a large one topping pizza!!

Traveling with kids 10/13 - they had a great time with all the amenities for kids! Jumping pillow, basketball court, hammocks and even swam in October! Very nice pool/hot tub area. Shuttle to downtown was convenient. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Firewood and beer and expensive at the park as to be expected...I called the two gas stations located near the KOA and neither had firewood but I was directed to Kroger’s on McGavock Pike. About a 10-15 minutes drive from the campground but an easy drive for food/firewood and adult beverages! Opry mall is very close for shopping and restaurants (we enjoyed Dave and Busters for games and football viewing on a raining Sunday)

Nashville KOA, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $100.00
Overall Rating:

Check in very easy and fast...site clean and very level. Site L1 is right by the general store, pool/hot tub, hammocks, yard games, and other amenities. Very night park, lots of big rigs and other pull behind campers enjoying the weekend in mid-October. Park was really quite, not many people hanging outside after dark. There is a highway not far from the campground, you can hear some highway noise but it’s not bad. Overall we really enjoyed our stay with KOA Nashville. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.
