Pomona RV Park & Campground, Galloway, New Jersey

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Most campsites are permanent residents. Confederate flags a plenty. At least 5 homes with them, and some with more than 1 flag. If we wouldn't have prepaid, no refund policy, would not have stayed there just because of the flags alone. And then rIght out of the gate, a permanent resident approached and said keep your dogs away, his is aggressive, and just might go after my dogs. No dog run. A small strip of grass next to the horse shoe pit and they must be constantly leashed, no enclosed area. The showers are old and run down. They are on timers, push them 3 to 4 times and you should eventually get warm water, not hot. Owners are very nice. It was 2 weeks before closing, I think they could have waited to remove the tree right next to the restrooms/showers, which they worked on our entire stay. Chainsaws at 8 am. And tree clean up noise and smell. Also a strong sewage smell the entire time we were there. No ice in the store. And they weren't going to get you any. Hot tub appeared to have never been in use. My suggestion to the owners if they read these reviews. Put your permanent residents in the back of the park and put your guests in the front. Don't put your guest right next door to the old guy with the aggressive dogs. He shouldn't have to tolerate travelers if he lives there. And people should be able to enjoy a vacation without a resident coming out within the first 5 minutes telling you to stay away from his home, only 15 feet away. We camped at Pomona RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
