Meacham Lake State Park, Paul Smiths, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This park is prime example of camping in the Adirondacks, most sites are wooded and have fire rings and picnic tables. There are no lots with electric, water, or sewer. Some sites are available on Meecham Lake. Most sites are level with a mix of sand and grass. Our particular lot was located up near the entrance and was very quiet and a very private site. This site is a pull in- pull out site. Firewood and Ice are available. Generators are allowed at certain times only. We camped at Meacham Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cumberland Bay State Park, Plattsburgh, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stay at CBST just after Labor day. We stayed on site #49 - Lake view - Beach across road - Electric hook-up. The site was level and sandy. This being a corner lot, we could arrange the camper for a lake view. The new camping center included new showers, laundry - very clean and well kept. Customer service was excellent. This is a great family location. I am sure it is very busy in the summer, but after labor day it was very comfortable. We camped at Cumberland Bay State Park in a Travel Trailer.
