Lazydays RV Campground, Seffner, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Extraordinary attention to detail. Pleasant staff, none of the harried, impersonal service experienced at many RV parks. Our go to if anywhere near Tampa, always when visiting our kids & grandkids. Super sites, cool pool & pleasant pub. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Dauphin Island Campground, Dauphin Island, Alabama

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is Alabama's version of Margaritaville. We are motorhomer's that prefer rustic, "old timey" adventure to "suburban" RV parks. If you have dogs, this is your place too. Just keep them leashed & bag their poop & you'll be just fine. Understand that you're on an island, far from the mainland, and adjust your expectations accordingly. These folks work hard to survive and provide accommodation for the tourists during the season. Private beach access & DOGS welcome! Much to do, if you like history and being surrounded by saltwater. We will return often. We camped at Dauphin Island Campground in a Motorhome.

The Great Outdoors RV Nature & Golf Resort, Titusville, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This RV Resort truly lives up to it's billing. Just plain WOW! You can believe all the hype. Real old-time Florida stuff. The town is just big enough to accommodate your needs, yet retains the Florida "cracker" appeal. A totally unspoiled beach, just as the Boss made it, is only minutes away. Maybe we should be quiet about TGO, lest it be "discovered". We camped at The Great Outdoors RV Nature & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

Quail Run RV Resort, Wesley Chapel, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here before and will again. Great rural location, yet close to major shopping & easy access to I-75. Large, level, paved pull-throughs. Wide, residential quality streets. Friendly staff. This park doesn't disappoint; however, the Wi-Fi does. Having experienced Tengo Internet before, we find this setup consistent with their low quality service. Despite several hotspots, none gave strong signal, nor high speed. Our 3G was twice as fast. The sign-on process is convoluted, reminiscent of dealing with a banana republic government. They also want enough personal info to condemn the user to a future of incessant spam Hades. One can always hope... We camped at Quail Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Cape Hatteras KOA, Rodanthe, North Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

The deciding factor in choosing this campground was their having an off-leash dog park. The park staff were among the best we've ever encountered. Facilities were all in good repair. Will definitely return. We camped at Cape Hatteras KOA in a Motorhome.

Greensboro KOA, Greensboro, North Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

An excellent overnight park when traveling I-85: will stay again. Sites are really close together. Suggest putting a wooden privacy fence up between the sites. We camped at Greensboro KOA in a Motorhome.

Lakeside Landing RV Park & Marina, Cropwell, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Overall nice place; however, we stayed during fishing tournaments. We won't again, it was packed. There is no night security to enforce campground policy. Drunken tent campers overloaded the site next to us & partied loudly until 1:30 A.M. They don't take reservations any longer, it is first come-first served only. We arrived 1 hour before check-in & were charged 1/2 day rental fee. We camped at Lakeside Landing RV Park & Marina in a Motorhome.
